Luke Fickell and his staff land Mason Posa, Eugene Hilton, Jr, Nizyi Davis, and flip back Torin Pettaway as part of the ever growing 2025 class! The boys are back to break down these recruits and how impactful they will be on this roster. PLUS, MASON POSA joins the show to talk about his game, what he likes about Madison, and so much more!

Great show. I’d love to catch/surprise Alabama when they are adjusting to new everything, basically including playing a tough game on the road early in the season, something they don’t always do. I’d love to see USC catch some early success and maybe be a bit too confident for our game in the Colosseum against them. If they are over confident combined with the usual laid back showtime kind of mindset there, and we are ready to go, it would be great time to beat them. That would be such a great start for us to this season. Then having Oregon and Penn State at home later in the season, that sets up nicely for more possible upsets. We just can’t drop the ball against Iowa and Nebraska and Rutgers and Northwestern.

Yes, success breeds success, so, yes, if this staff can get the kind of early Alvarez success/buzz in year 3-4 or sooner, that will help in recruiting. But, what helps, is we are in a power lucrative conference now in the midst of the changes on the whole football scene which is also a big selling point. That new indoor practice facility will help too.

When it comes to ranking, only look at star average. In that case being in the top 20 is excellent

Unfortunately sounds like ND paid up to hold on to him. He received a raise and promotion. Will be interesting to see who they end up adding to an already very good recruiting department.

Not sure I love all these players saying we will win championships! B1G is loaded OSU,Penn St, Michigan, Oregon. Will be very difficult to win that consistently.

If you don't believe you can do it you never will. They may not accomplish their goals but I want them to push as far as they can.

@@thebuckyreport that’s a fair perspective I just don’t want players to get discouraged if they don’t make it. Also I would agree setting expectations is a good thing. Only 1 team in the 18 team big 10 can win and if there talking a nation title 1 of over 100 teams.

I’m sure you mean well, however I don’t believe you need to be worried about protecting these players from being discouraged by lowering their expectations. It’s not the way high level athletes/coaches think.

@@DanielHungerford yeah that’s a good point only 4 teams can win a power conference or 1 win the natty. These guys come to play regardless and making things like the expanded cfp are a big deal aswell
