Sir, During fission , the energy must be supplied to break the nucleus of uranium , and you said that during fission the energy must be released??
@Inclinationgamer
@Inclinationgamer 3 жыл бұрын
A neutron strikes the atom of heavy mass and after that energy is released

Same question?
@NasirKhan-qp1pv
@NasirKhan-qp1pv 3 жыл бұрын
The energy supplied to break the nucleus is actually the neutrons known as "thermal neutrons " and when it strikes another neutrons are emitted which continue the chain reaction plus there is some amount of energy released which helps in making nuclear bombs

Assalamualaikum sir ... Sir i got a doubt 😢 sir ye to clear hoo gya ke seperated neutron or electron jab join hote hai so they realse energy and jab solid joined mass seperate hota hai to energy is required or ye bhi sahi hai energy is released in both fissiona and fusion BUTTT Sir 22:26 U238 stable hone ke liye split hita hai undergoing fission how energy is released isnt it ke it requires energy to be split in to small particles 15:02 to get stable ???? I am confused .......

As loss of mass per nucleon of iron is -0.009,then it will be the least value then others like -0.007...So in this way Fe iron is stable.. But sir ..you told ..Fe has high value of packing fraction ..thats why it is stable. Then what will be right concept ..?plz inform me

As we came to know in start of the lecture that while breaking a big nucleus into its fragments we have to give energy, but at the point where you have explained that every nucleus wants to be stable like iron and for this no matter it goes through fission or fusion for making itself stable then what should we consider, should we consider starting theory wrong or what else? plz reply
@ibrahimabid2448
@ibrahimabid2448 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah! I think elemnts on the left side of the Fe 23:31 should go for Fusion and the right ones should go gor Fission. But the problem is that, Sir said both Fission and Fusion will release energy. But I think left ones giving Fusion reaction should release energy to combine with others and the right ones giving Fission reaction should absorb energy to split themselves. Is that what u meant..? If I am wrong then tell me.
