Curious why you think that and what game did you play first? To me ME1 has always had the best story. Like it’s insane everything that game offers. ME2 to me was nothing but filler. They took away the original team, introduced a new enemy and had really nothing to do with nothing. ME1 and ME3 are the best to me.

@@malachimickelonis7971 ME3 had the most rushed story of all 3 games. 2 had best character development, most intriguing story, revamped the dumb gameplay from 1 and had much much more content. 2 will always be best in trilogy followed closely by 1 and 3 is at the bottom.

I love this mission soo hard. The music, the tension, all the parts are just amazing. But I also can't come to terms with the fact that the final boss in it is just a harmless decoration with a small hp level. Man, it's a damn reaper! He should have been much cooler!

It was states that the reaper was not ready yet and the collectors would probably need millions of humans instead of the 10,000 or so they had harvested so far. Also the body was incomplete so that’s why it had those weak spots.

They should have had it pop up from every angle around the arena, so that you couldn't stay in one place, have an array of attacks so that cover is actually important, and have a few 'heavy' attacks that would destroy cover; forcing you to stay on the move, scrounge for cover and ammo, and be wary of it coming from every direction. That would have been epic.

The Mass Effect trilogy is easily among the top of the list for things I'd love to experience again for the first time. Hadn't really experienced too many great stories in games before it came along.

I'm not someone that ever platinums games or tries to get as many trophies as possible. But when I got into the Mass Effect series almost ten years ago, I became more obsessed with it than any other fictional series I've ever interacted with. And Mass Effect 2, to this day, is the only game I have ever platinumed. Seeing so many people playing the Legendary Collection is bringing me back to those days 😊.

The only way and I mean the...ONLY...WAY I could see this ending being better is if when the three of you are running back to the Normandy, one of the hatches opens and instead of Joker being there to cover you, every single crew member (or at least as many can fit) who survives is waiting there when the hatch opens and they just light ..them.. up! Rifles, explosives, biotics the whole nine yards while the last three or at least whoever survives hops in including Shepard. I just feel like that would be the cherry on the top of history's greatest sundae. This game really makes you feel like the leader of team of your best friends and you're all total badasses haha. Maybe it's a little too much and my idea would ruin an already pretty much perfect ending, but I just like the idea of everyone surviving what should have been a suicide mission and finishing it by putting themselves back in the line of fire to back up the final 3 members of the team who haven't gotten back and ensuring no one gets left behind by covering their escape. Basically the whole team putting themselves at risk of getting hit to make sure their fellow comrades have the best chance of making it back to the ship. Like that last little middle finger to the collective and reapers of we refuse to die mfer and we're not gonna let you take even one more of us! A small change but something that I feel would be touching as hell when booking it back. Like imagine you're still anxious hoping you can all make it back and you see that you're getting fired at like crazy from behind so when the Normandy pulls up and the hatch opens to reveal some of the crew like Wrex, Garrus, Liara, Jack, Tali, Legion etc. whoever can fit is just there and it just visually screams we got your back guys get your ass in here! That's how it felt to me to see Joker but Idk that just my personal opinion on the only way I could even think of changing this ending.

I spared the Collector base on my first blind playthrough and for my second, I basically gave the finger to the Illusive Man on my second all the time

41:22 What is this? In the original, you could see the reaper hanging and the exploding. But now there is this artificially looking black wall from which parts of the reaper's model stick out. The camera zoom-out doesn't make any sense like this. And then the explosion?! This is the climax of the entire game, there can't be glitches like this. This happened in my game and every video I watched... Wth

@@jakowski630 What would have been nice is a cross between the two previous final missions. Anyone who survived the entire series will join you for the final mission to save the Citadel similar to the assault on the Collector Base (with steeper defense score requirements), with The Illusive Man as the final boss similar to Saren. The ending you will get depends on how strong your War Assets were.

Every time I replayed this game years ago, I always felt bad for the collectors, as they were only following the reapers to stay alive, and once they failed, they were sentenced to death. Wiping the Protheans out completely

Always felt a bit sorry for that thicc collector boi near the end ME2 is my favorite story game of all time - so much of the reaper backstory revealed and the growing threat unveiled, plus tons of improvements in gameplay.

At the time when Mass Effect 2 was released the idea was that the reapers were harvesting and preserving different species and then they would wipe off the rest of the population coz they were disrupting dark matter fields with their use of Element Zero and mass effect technology, this was hinted in the mission in which you recruit Tali on Haestrom. But it was slightly changed by the time Mass Effect 3 went into production.

That "proto reaper" was not nearly as big as the other ones, which all look relatively similar, so the logical conclusion is that this is merely the core of the reaper, and the weird purple hand thing is the exterior shell. They may all look different on the inside.

Am I the only one who would never angered the illusive man? It really sucks that in mass effect 3 I have to side with the alliance if only they made mass effect 3 story can be with alliance or cerberus.. I prefer cerberus and also in mass effect 3 I always choose to make the reapers under my control. It's more awesome haha

Yes. Although my first play through I maxed out out. I didn't think to use it in the end. My last play through it wasn't maxed out. But damn one shot it.
