I love that Ryder is awkward. Where Shepard was smooth and confident. its nice to see the contrast. Though overall I wish the romances had a lot more content, all of them felt shallow compared to the relationships in ME3.

I love Suvi so much. Once I got a feel of each character, she was my favorite. I wanted to pick her in my first playthrough but then found out I had to replay as Female Ryder. Worth the restart. She's so sweet!

Incredible for me to see all the characters with original voices. Only knew the translated dubs, where there's no accents whatsoever. And I'm speaking of ME1-3 and Andromeda. I played Andromeda first and I thought it was alright, not fantastic, but really not terrible either (I got blessed with only 1 combat bug all game). I didn't really understand why everyone else trashed it so. Then I got the original trilogy, and I instantly got it. Andromeda played and looked better than the original 3 (again blessed with only 1 bug 1 time) but it was just so... Shallow. The OG had personality. Spark. The gameplay lacked, so the story compensated. the OG had deep characters and expansive storytelling. Andromeda just didn't. I instantly realized after beating 1 that Andromedas writing crew didn't know how to possibly top the Reapers, or even the geth, so they didn't. They took the collectors from 2 and stole the Prometheans from Halo AND EVEN ESSENTIALLY STOLE THE FORERUNNER CONSTRUCTS IDEA FROM HALO and called it a day. Andromeda is like a great fling. Yeah the sex is fantastic and he/she is the picture of gorgeous, but after a few months you realize there really isn't anything else there. Where as the OG trilogy, or even just mass effect 1 to be fair, is that nerdy guy/girl In the corner who has a massive personality and is that person you just can't stop talking to once you've started. Ultimately Andromeda is just a massive waste of potential. I hope EA (oh fuck I'm asking EA to be a good parent God help me) doesn't kill mass effect because of Andromeda. I also hope bioware really learns from this AND ANTHEM'S FAILURE, and realized you can't just shove a game out last minute. That it does in fact take Time and attention to make a good game. Mass effect just needs a soft reboot. Give it the effort 2 and MOST of 3 got, and this series can EASILY be saved, and become great again. ...or it can become burnout and simply never be heard from again, this is EA after all 😂
