In the last chapter of Mass Effect, Commander Shepard and her party finally make a landing on Ilos, where, deep within the ruins of an ancient Prothean research facility, they encounter a miraculously well-preserved virtual intelligence who finally provides answers to so many formerly unanswered questions - and reveals the whole deviousness of Sovereign and Saren's masterplan to initiate the Reaper invasion by taking control of the Citadel. Rushing after Saren in the nick of time, the Commander makes one last desperate stand within the grounds of the burning Citadel, provoking Sovereign into making a fatal mistake and sealing the Citadel entry point for the Reapers. Humanity and the entire Galaxy can finally take a breath and live in peace once again... but for how long exactly?
[NOTE: This video is part of a complete re-recording of the Mass Effect Trilogy in its Legendary Edition, replacing my previous recordings of the original trilogy. There are no significant differences with the previous playthrough, as the main reason behind the re-recording is not to present a different path, but rather to make use of the enhanced visuals and present everything in higher video and audio quality. In addition to the base Legendary Edition version, the game uses a set of custom-made mods to enhance visual performance even further (LEUITM, MELLO, ALOT, etc.), as well as the "Community Patch" and "Diversification Project" to correct occasional bugs and restore a few pieces of cut content.]
