Hi - welcome to this weeks mass making workshop. This week, we are making these gorgeous double lace belly bands inspired by Charlotte Peterson, great for using up lace and fabric scraps. Hope you manage to craft along, and get some serious mass making done with me during these workshops which I am hoping to upload every Tuesday. I love that you’re covered in glue. I watch so many who work with pristine hands, whereas when I work, I get covered in glue, ink and paint ... I always think I have more fun when I’m covered in glue at the end of my crafting session.

I love these, much better and prettier, than any belly band I’ve ever made, I can relate to anxiety triggers, they can ruin your life but well done anyone who figures out how to cope. Anyway yes beautiful bands I will definitely have a play, as I have so many trims, lace, fabric flowers, and appliqué butterflies. I need to brush up on my snippet rolls, so yes great practise. Hi Tina, we’re back from Florida. Our new Grandson is just beautiful. We were so busy down there the for the last 2 weeks, so I’ve missed your videos. But we got home this afternoon, so I’ll be back watching every morning. I heard you say that you suffer from anxiety. I truly feel for you. My son that just had the baby suffers from depression. He’s a Marine and he was in Afghanistan and an ied exploded near him and he suffers from traumatic brain injury which causes bouts of depression. So I know how these things can affect you. I’ll keep you in my prayers. Take care of you first and foremost! We’ll all be here for you. And these belly bands are so pretty!! Hugs 🤗

Oh Linda I am really pleased that you had a safe trip and that you met your new beautiful grandson. I am sure you didn’t want to leave, those early days are so precious. So sorry about your son, what an awful thing to happen, and to leave him with bouts of depression is just tragic. It’s really difficult to manage depression and the like with a new baby. Excited that you will be joining us again. X

Lovely dear!! Please don't apologise for the same stuff. We're all humans with flaws, it's what makes us great. Also take care of yourself and never feel bad about it. If you don't take care of you your cup will be dry and you can't share from an empty cup. You do all these helpful fun videos for free, so we should never look a gift horse in the mouth. Wuvs ya🤗🐞🥰

Hi Tina, your videos are so inspiring and these lace pieces are so pretty, I have lots of lace and this is a great idea. I understand how you feel when something goes wrong outside your control, as I’m experiencing a similar thing, with a much smaller audience but I worry if I can’t commit to something. Please be kind to yourself. You have a very loyal audience who will understand and support you, as I do ❤️

I have so much to say. I hope you don’t mind long messages! First, I love these belly bands. Just beautiful. I just noticed yesterday that there was no tidy Friday. I was sitting here watching your glue book project and thought, wait a minute I don’t remember seeing a tidy Friday. It’s okay! I look forward to it but all of your videos are great! And yes, technology is a blessing and a curse. I started having anxiety all of the sudden several years ago. It came totally out of the blue and would hit me with high blood pressure, rapid heart beat, feelings of not being able to breathe properly and feeling like I could pass out or have a heart attack at any moment. I was driving down the road one day when everything went dark. So, so scary! I actually went to the ER a couple of times. It would last a few days and then stop as quickly as it started. My doctor had no answers for me. Finally, for me at least, there was an answer. My blood work showed I have an over active thyroid. It was randomly sending my system into overdrive. When you have bloodwork done for a yearly checkup it checks your thyroid levels but not on a very thorough level. Well, the numbers were finally starting to show up so they did more testing and sure enough there was trouble there. Who knows how long it had been building. I was put on a medication that leveled me out and I haven’t had a panic attack in a few years. All of that to say, thyroid maybe?

Oh dear please don't apologize! Life goes on, it's full of hiccups and surprises. I love this idea 💡! I think I might try to put a magnet in it under the lace. Really the options are endless. Its a lace collage. By the way you can get the half pearls on Aliexpress. Anxiety and depression can be debilitating and overwhelming. Self care is always important. As much as we adore your videos we would much rather have you in a good place. I think as a mother we tend to think if others before ourselves but it's okay not to.

Love, Love, Love. These bands are sooo Tina. I hesitate to suggest this Netflix series because it is about a serial killer. I don’t know what it suggests about my husband and I , but we loved it. 🙃😂 The series is “Dexter “and I just read they are adding 6 new episodes in 2021 to follow up the finale filmed several years ago. They are also using the original Dexter actor which I have seen in some British television shows we get in the US.

These are absolutely gorgeous! I’d love to know where you buy all of your beautiful lace 😏 Glad to know that there is actually another Tidy Friday video - I’ll watch that later. I missed it, but please don’t apologise. These things happen all the time with technology. As you said, in hindsight, it makes perfect sense that it didn’t show, but like you, it didn’t occur to me that it may have been one of the ‘oops’ ones and wouldn’t have shown as new 😂 And it’s so lovely to hear your daughter’s sweet little voice in background 🥰

Thank you, I buy my lace anywhere and everywhere these days. The shop I used to use has closed down during the pandemic, but I have recently bought some lace from a wholesaler which will keep me going for years! Lol. Yes technology is wonderful most of the time, but every now and then it just does something that you hadn’t for seen. Normally completely logical in hindsight, but just not as planned 😊🙃🤭 x

Tina, these are lovely! So lovely that I almost burned dinner cuz I was paying more attention to you than to the chicken! But now that I think about it dinner lasts 20 minutes and a beautiful belly band might last 20 years, so I guess my priorities were in order after all. TYFS m'dear. I love these, they are gorgeous! I saw Gayle make some of these in one of her videos as well. Great idea to mass make them. I watched the whole first season of Emily in Paris and just loved it, sweet and up lifting with all the beautiful Paris scenery.

Bless You!!! I love lace, it's all over my house and at every window and doorway, so these are really lovely to me, so sweet. I'm sorry anxiety rears it's ugly head to you, I've lived with anxiety my whole life, it ain't fun. Lately worry over the presidential election has me wrung out. Being a christian conservative is not a popular stance any more. We've had 4 signs stolen and house/banner shot at with BBs. Shooting while running they hit and shattered my neighbors big bay widow. I'm so worried they will poison my pups. Free speech as long as you agree with them. sorry, just upset and venting. You're little girl sounds so sweet! I noticed right away when you were missing a video. I didn't want to bother you because I thought maybe there was an emergency. I was relieved to know everything is ok. I have been looking for the trim. If I find it I will get you some. I still have a little piece left that will go in my personal journal. I was mass making butterflies during the video. Oh thank you Laura for your concern. It's just so annoying when things go wrong with technology! Even when it is caused by user error! Lol. I am hoping that they will get some more in with their Christmas stock, if they do, I will send you some :-) . Yes butterflies are fiddly, but I do love making them. Hello Tina, I like this. I’m always using belly bands. I sure want try these. Your daughter sounds so sweet. Hope your all staying on the well side. I heard they shut down the UK. They should shut the US down too. We have some many people who won’t wear mask. It is mandatory in stores and hospitals but there are places that don’t require them. Shame on them. Now is the time for the Governor to speak to the people and put an order out. Bye

Thank you so much, have fun with these. We are in individual area situations over here, so some areas are in lockdown of sorts and others aren’t. We have to wear masks in shops etc, which is a good thing I think. Stay safe and well x

These are pretty. I wonder what a black one would look like with bling. Or iin Christmas colors muted not in your face with bright colors. With the white pearls and colorful colors of flat back colored gems. What do you think? We don't fall back here until November 1st. I have to set a reminder on the 31st or i will forget. LOL. They have more or less canceled Door to door trick or Treaters 😪 not that I have more than one or two. Are we done with the glue book?

@@shabbydabbydoodah I just got the news back from my MRI of my back from the car wreck. It's not good. It has to do with c3 &4 and nerve damage. I won't know exactly what it is, but the guy at my pain Dr. Said that I have to see a specialist. He called my bone and joint Dr. And they said that A Dr. Hurt was who I will need to see. They are supposed to contact me to make my Appointment. Mom said that she remembers that he did come into the office and see patients but was not a every day thing.
