This is not a God or religious matter. There are far too many people using "God" conveniently. Sitting in church everyday does not make you a "religious person". Gun violence in this country can be solved but there are politicians benefiting from this gun violence chaos. Why allow open and the carry? It should not matter if the person is a responsible gun user or not. And the laws favor just that. Other countries have strict processes for obtaining any type of assault weapon or guns. Let's not make this a "God" or "Religious" issue.

I am too. Yet politicians are passing more " open and carry laws". It makes no sense. We can definitely solve this gun chaos. Some politicians do not want to solve the problem. Money over safety instead of Safety over money.

I live in Cincy. It's getting bad here. We have shootings daily now. Part of the west side is almost a no go zone. City government is tying the hands of police. We have 4 teens running around stealing cars and they don't keep them locked up.

Yeah, I'm just outside of Cincinnati. About 10 min. It's a lovely area. You were in Clifton. That hasn't been a good arrangement in the 35 years I've been here. I'm really sorry for what happened to you. Cincinnati has pockets of bad areas you need to know to avoid. Downtown is beautiful. But, you need to know what streets to avoid. My husband is in bands here. And, the main streets downtown used to be ok. But, about 20+ years 😊 drove out good businesses. And a lot of gangs have crept up. Now we have Latino gangs we never had before. Which is who I think are dismembering people. We go down on the river during the day. But, if I want to go on the river at night, I go over to KY. It's crawling with police and much safer. We used to go eat downtown almost weekly. Now we just go over the river. Even in the suburbs we are being told where they are housing the illegals, to avoid the areas at night. A police officer warned me one evening getting gas. Saying, "They're selling drugs, prostitution is rampant, crime has skyrocketed. This used to be a lovely and safe area. But, Ms, you need to avoid here at night." Then I was hit head on by one of them drunk driving. She almost killed 7 people! And she tried to blame us. She ran a red light and hit 2 vehicles. And the judge told her she had to take a safety course. That's it! Columbus' gang crime has been growing faster and much worse than here. It was bad when I first moved here. And Cleveland is even worse.

Exactly! It's like history keeps repeating itself. Look at what the Israelites demanded after God freed them from Egypt. They demanded a King/Ruler instead of trusting and following Gods commandments. God said "okay. Here ya go". And they got a king and we know the rest of the story. They did that over and over again...and it's still going on today all over the world.

I live in America, and there hasn’t been a shooting in my town in over 60 years. It seems to be large cities that have the problems. Something I’ve known all my life, and the reason I would never live there. But at least I can defend myself, no matter where I choose to be.
