This time around on Rhythm Roulette, Mass Appeal linked up with Boston bred and Brooklyn based producer/turntablist Statik Selektah. After putting the ceremonial blindfold on, getting those fingers dusty, and heading back to the studio- Statik created one hell of a dope beat for us, and then put the finishing touches on with a quick scratching demonstration.

The Alchemist was my favorite DJ/Producer in this new millennium...still one of my favorite beat makers but Statik Selektah easily took the crown from dude. This dude is a beast on production and his selection of MC's for his albums is a cross from the old school to the new which is dope! His style to me is a blend of Primo, Pete Rock, Large Professor, and even 9th Wonder. Dope on the beats.
