I’d bale with this right along side any new baler and tractor combination. It might not be fast but it’s affordable and dependable! Really appreciate the comment! Take care!

Thanks for the video! I love to hear a Perkins 😊. I’ve been getting a lot of bush hogging done with my 240 the last couple weeks. I remember hauling a ton of square bales from a baler like that one. Brings back good memories!

I just love the old square balers! Just the sound of them I guess, I could fall asleep to that sound. We used to have an international baler with a Wisconsin motor on it, now that was a beast!

I’ve seen some of those old balers with the motor mounted on them. It’s a soothing sound for sure if you grew up around one as a kid! Appreciate you watching!

Watching you Massey guys got me to thinking.........Hey! I got something sitting in the bushes with a Masey-Ferguson data plate on it.... An 11 shank chisel Plow... bought once used twice...... behind a 4620 Deere.....pulling up roots where a hedgerow had grown.....did a fantastic job..

Well that’s interesting, must be fairly old because Massey quit making attachments probably in the 80’s. Appreciate you watching!

@@khtractors We bought it at a sale. in about 2010...... Who ever had it before us had run the points on the shanks so short that it had worn the bottom mounting hole half way... took about 20 lbs of rods to build the shanks back..... Then it has been parked since about 2012....The 8100 and Case/IH 25ft disc provide all the tilliage we need for Sprigging Bermuda Grass.....

Love your videos. I lived in Honaker for awhile and I had family in Coeburn. When I did hay, I had an M6040 and an old kick baler and an older still haybine. I still have friends down there.

That tractor and baler make a nice combo! Ive got my fingers crossed that ill be doing the same next week, even if i have to take a chance of some of it getting washed. Bales look to be very tight and uniform. I dont aim to make the heaviest bales out there because we don't sell them. I would love a second tractor like that massey but, ive got to pinch pennies for a little while lol

I try to make them fairly tight. We are getting a ton of rain this evening. Yeah I understand the pinching pennies, I’ve put myself in that situation after 3 pretty big purchases this year. I’m done trading and buying for a few years. Thanks for watching and have a great evening!

It was about 2.5 to 3 acres and we had 110 bales. The 120 didn’t miss a bale! Appreciate you watching!

My dad had the same tractor while I was growing up. It’s got a lot of power and very stable. Horrible steering linkage and power steering. Tractor outlasted those.
