A lot of potential fail points too. Not just sensors, wires and chips but understanding how the software works. It’s frustrating to have your “smart” tractor be so condescending. And the components aren’t cheap. A thumb toggle switch for a grapple attachment cost almost 450 USD. It’s a couple wires, toggle and a microchip. Some of the conveniences are nice but when they go wrong… 💰💰💰 Or when a production line worker doesn’t run the wire bundle out of your seat correctly and it gets pinched in the seat suspension. Now your transmission shuttle doesn’t work because the tractor thinks there is no one in the seat. Modern conveniences are nice but there are trade offs.

That is the great part with Massey Ferguson they offer the High Feature "S Series" and more Basic Global Series to meet the technology needs of the customer. If you want lots of bells & whistles the S Series is your tractor and it has more electronics for more advanced controls. If an assembly issue and under warranty that seat wire should be covered under warranty policy. Now not know which model and switch to toggle grapple I can't think of a switch costing that much unless it was complete joystick handle on S Series Tractor replacement. But that switch if factory installed would fall under the 2 year tractor warranty. Need more of the story and model to determine. Massey Ferguson Parts on the Most Part are very competitive for what you get and the warranty behind them.

Yes that are Highly Advanced High Spec Tractors...we actually have sold to Commercial Airline Pilot and he said the same thing and that is what he LOVES about it...all the features makes him feel like he in better control and love the added options to be able to control his machines and do his tasks easier. Turning Radius can be set down to 13.1 foot but the Front Axle Stops and Oscillation Stops need to be adjusted from Factory Setting plus Tire Size and Tread Width will effect Turning Radius too. Yeah my 4707 has easy adjustments for the turn radius. I think MF sets them middle of the road / conservatively by default.

Yes they do to make sure they don't get into loader or tractor when in transit to dealership. It's dealer responsibility during the Pre-delivery Inspection to adjust Tires & Wheels to meet customers needs and set Steering Stops and Oscillation Stops to Maximize Performance when turning.

Gears 1,2,3,4 with 4 Powershifts (A, B,C,D) in Each Gear with Speedmatching so when you upshift from 1D to Gear 2 It matches closest speed so normally shifts to 2A or 2B not all the way to 2D if you didn't have speedmatching. Very simple to understand once you drive it. You can shift all 16 speeds without clutching.

It comes with several manuals for operation and maintenance.

Massey Dealer are suppose to perform Pre Delivery Inspection prior to Delivery and in that Inspection Process, Fluid Levels are part of the Inspection Process.

This tractor is so easy to drive...even a Hollywood Actor could drive. LOL Lots of features and lots of ways to operate to make you the most efficient farmer in the field.

You would have to run Loader hoses to the Rear Remote Valves to utilize the MicroJoystick. It could be done but would lose the 3rd Function Controls as it can only operate two remotes or Loader Up/Down and Tilt/Dump Functions.

@@VahrenbergImplement oh I see, I thought it was assignable to any of the remotes. Can you do a video explaining the Dyna-4 and Dyna-6 and why the Dyna-6 is better? I’ve read conflicting statements that the Dyna-6 is a much more heavier duty transmission that would last much longer than the 4…it’s not just additional gears/ranges but more brute as well. True?

I never heard anything about difference in strength between Dyna4 and Dyna6 and reviewing the sales Product Information Guide they both use the same Housing, the same Forward/Reverse Shuttle Unit, same Range Box (4 Gear Ranges), Big difference is the Powershuttle Section of the Transmission the Dyna4 is 4 speed Ratios created by 2 Epicyclic Units, 2 Brake Packs and 2 Clutch Packs and Dyna6 is 6 speed ratios created by 3 Epicyclic Units, 3 Brakes Packs and 3 Clutch Packs. Dyna4 is 16 sequential speeds with no Speed Overlaps and 8 of the 16 speeds in typical field working speeds. The Dyna6 is 24 sequential speeds with 24th speed being Overdrive for 40kph (25 mph) at 1530 Engine RPM, 11 of the 24 speeds are in typical field working speeds. Both utilize the same 3 Function Powershuttle on the left side of steering wheel. So the Biggest difference is 4 Speed versus 6 Speed Powershift. Dyna4 is only available in the Classic Version on 5S and the Dyna6 is only available in Deluxe Edition on 5S. There are added features with different packages and that come standard equipment besides Transmission difference.

@@VahrenbergImplement thanks for explaining that in depth. I’ve been looking for a 5s Deluxe for the Dyna 6…you would be surprised how many dealers list classic tractors as deluxe and say they special ordered it with a Dyna 4. Just crazy!

Only way to get a Dyna6 in 5S is order the Deluxe Edition Tractor also gets the chrome steering wheel is another way to recognize classic (Black) versus deluxe (Chrome/Silver) Steering Wheel Center. Classic has T Handle controller on Right Console versus Deluxe has MultiPad on Arm Rest Console too.

It's best to contact your local dealer for Sales Promotions. They have a really aggressive Straight Forward Program on S Series Models and will save you lots of money. This tractor 2023 List Price was $203,124 with loader. Normally 20% off list can get you close to pricing but the Straight Forward Program better than that and you need to visit with your dealer and spec out the tractor the way you want it. Even some build and order discounts that lower the price too!

You won't get the Steep Sloped Hood and Visibility in 6S. And 6S is going going to cost more than equally equipped 5S. Plus 5S creates more PTO HP 5S.145 is 116 PTO HP and 6S.145 is 105 PTO HP. But it depends on your needs and wants. 6S could be better for some or 7S too.

Massey Ferguson offers several feature levels starts with 5700 Global Series standard 12x12 Powershuttle is the Entry Level then the 5700 Dyna4 is upgraded Transmission & Cab Suspension. Then you can move up to the 5S Series starting with a Classic Edition which is more economical and less features then move up to the ultimate the Deluxe Edition like this tractor in the video is. Also with the S Series you can add or subtract features to match your needs and price range. Lots of choices with Massey Ferguson to match your needs and budget. Best is to sit down with your dealer and spec a tractor just like you need and order it and save even more.

The 5S have lots of features but once you set many of them you can control Tractor and Loader much easier. You don't have to move hands all over the place for Hydraulics, PTO, AutoGuide, Tractor Control and More can be done with the MultiPad or many can be programed into the Loader Joystick for single Lever Operation. Do a KZfaq Search and watch how many are using for field work. The Europeans use lots of 5S tractor for Planting, Plowing, Tillage and more. You can even get the 5S Series with MF Guide (Auto Steer).

What do you mean too much going on with it inside to be a loader tractor? I agree it has a lot going on but how in the world does that determine if it’s a loader or not 😂😂
