Congrats! I'm going to the Hard Rock in Hollywood this week and I thought that the table minimums were $200 upstairs but I see that anonymous was playing only $50 a hand.What is the table min upstairs?

I love seeing high limit games with proper rules. Even more I love not hearing someone whine about their luck so much they try and coin phrases about it after themselves. That said, to add to the discussion on 11 vs Ace... that's the one thing that's not a double by the book. Wizard of Odds' calculator shows you're taking a small hit on your expected value here. You're still favored doubling 11 vs Ace, don't get me wrong - but the amount you're giving up is NOT offset by getting to put more money out. You're favored +14.75% of your total bet just hitting, and this drops to +12.97% of your total bet (including the double) when doubling - so your action is reduced to being favored +6.485%, x2 for getting to double. ...if the count moves to +1 or higher, however, it's a double. Also, I'm surprised they won't let everyone have RSA and surrender and the favorable rules by just YOUR action alone. You'd think you pulling out your stack of cash and saying "hey, these guys are with ME, I want you to treat them as well as you do me" would be enough.

I see the pit boss frowned, cause the recording was rolling while the dealer started to shuffle. As a former table games dealer, reasoning is that casinos have shuffle patterns that they use to eliminate advantage players. So by doing so the person watching this can slow the video down and see how they take the cards off the decks and riffle the cards.

The reason you don’t double an eighth against a bust card is because the average winning hand is 18.5 so it doesn’t make sense to double anything hard that’s not a 9-11

I love the content and actually think the camera angle was perfect. My only concern is why were the casino floor so rude to you by sticking a piece of paper in your camera lens when you’re gambling such large amounts of money? Surely they could have politely informed you they were shuffling and you can’t film the technique etc without sticking a piece of paper so rudely over the camera. If you’re at a $5 min table maybe this is acceptable but you guys are gambling up to 5k a hand….just my weird pet peeve, dealer was great and seemed like an awesome time regardless.
