Massive Attack is by far my favourite mainstream artist. Sinead's vocals elevate (if this is even possible) the feeling of angst, nostalgia, warning, dread and emotion of this piece. Beautiful voice. Rest in Peace dear Sinead! Hope you have found peace!

Ciao Sinead❤❤

@@ScottWiecenski wrong. Both singers are great in different ways, but Sinead has the most iconic (read: crossover hit) song: "Nothing Compares 2 U." Dolores cannot claim a song that achieved that same level of renown.

I realised recently that I was in fact a huge life long fan. Mandinka was brilliant, and I liked it long before everyone else. I didn't much like the other one though. Anyway I'll probably never get over the lose. Especially now all these pictures of her with hair are popping up.

Vou te ouvir e amar sempre minha cantora favorita e especial. Para sempre Sinéad O'Connor. ❤👊

Can someone help me out with this? As an American, I'm not really aware of children going missing or being slain in England. What is she singing about? Being that it's Sinead singing, I would more expect a song about Ireland or the I.R.A. She's not even English. What the Hell is she talking about?
@uzaidgurjee47982 жыл бұрын
Not every Irish person agrees with the bombings, innocent children were murdered. Regardless of what England had done wrong, those children did not deserve to die.
@ScottWiecenski2 жыл бұрын
@@uzaidgurjee4798 I can understand that, but (at least to my American brain) those horrible events were many decades ago. I dont think theyre currently happening. Maybe Sinead was saying "Lets never let this happen again" but in the context of the song I got the impression she was singing about something currently happening. Granted, American news doesnt cover whats going on in N.I. or England today in regards to "The troubles" so maybe Im just under informed.
