i use mothers lament, berserkers eye, pain clasp, igneous scorn,fervent fang, P&C, BSJ, vipers bite. all rank 10 apart from BSJ which is rank 4. they work well together

This video is mainly PvE purpose. Still though people keep pointing out strife debuff like it would only affect 1 star. 2 and 5 s are strifed as well. If someone is not able to get much higher resonance, then focusing on bonuses isn't a bad idea.

Yes but bottled hope reduces skill cool down. And obviously costs significantly more. Plus the issue of even being able to find 5* gems on the market. People that have plat can't even find their specific gem most of the time.

The one star gems have the huge disadvantage of lower CR. Combat Rating is the most important Stat in the game. First it is the single gateway to higher content. Second the debuff when you are below CR means you deal less damage and take more damage. So, the one star gems are a bit of a trap. You get fooled into thinking all the one star buffs are cool, but, with the trick shot for example it does not matter if your channeling skills last 24% longer but you are doing 200% less damage. You can't push challenge rifts, which are necessary both to unlock drops and level set items. You can't push Heliquary. This is also a gate to higher content. Rank 10 1 star = cr of 44 Rank 10 2 star = cr of 66 Rank 4 , 4 of 5 10 star = cr of 88 So 8 slots × 44 = 352 CR The 5 star gems take time, not $. 4 of 5 star drop sometimes as you earn the legendary crests. You get an automatic 5 star drop 1 in every 10 crest runs. You can craft the 5 star gem of choice with prarls. So 100% agree starting with 1 star gems, but one star gems are not a great long term strategy. I strongly suggest you Rank up at least 4 of the 5 star gems. The pay to win is getting 5 star to rank 10, that will cost you, but 5 star gems between rank 3 - 5 are about as expensive as 1 star gems and this gem power is available for free to play and low spenders over time.

​​​@@leopard3131 would be nice if we get 1 5* every 10 legendary crests you spend. But you need 50 legendary crest same type(50 orange or 50 purple) to get 100% drop. Also marlet is empty. I wait 6 months to uprg my gloom to rank 4. Because it never drop for me and it is always out of market. And last. Dps in pve 2*>5*. You can have 8x5* gems and my 8x2* gems will double your dmg. Agree with cr, this is most important stat if you below requirements. But if you above, this is the most useless stat. Also do not forget that 2/5* are trash and it will be 90% of your 5* gems drops. 3/5* are fine but you aim for 4/5* gems. Single 4/5 bsj costs same amount like 2*gem at rank 10. Because you can craft them, just need gem power.

@elmerofun6669 does not sound as if you use 1 star all that much either. They are starter gems.

1 star gems are a starting or short term strategy, in the long run you will want to go 5 star. A low ranking 5 star (rank 3 or 4) is not more expensive than a rank 10 one star gem and the 5 star gems have better CR, better resonance, and better effects.😮

​@@Sistik123 yeah kinda, but Im casual player so my 2nd stats are normal range. Lately I met many 1k 2k reso with rank 7 or 8 2nd stats gems, so I believe many whale do that on purpose 😂.
