This build deals MASSIVE damage, has incredibly chase potential, and can destroy your opponents. The New World greatsword hatchet pvp build is one my favorite builds in the game to date. The greatsword in New World is incredibly strong at the moment, and a lot of fun to play.

This is one of the MOST thorough explanations of a build and HOW you use y9our skills. I am a 2-week old player hit level 60 yesterday trying to see how I want to play my build, also a hatchet/greatsword build. Clearly, I have a lot of farming and game time to get the items I need. However, this was very very informative! Thank you!

Pretty good in-depth guide. I love it how you mention farmable pieces. It helps a lot since I don't really know them. The video has it all. Build, attributes, gear/perks, explanations/whys, and some gameplay/rotations. I'm glad I found it.

Nice video. I wouldn’t slot any thrust damage gems atm, since all the good musket/bow players are at like 50% elemental damage with their gems + attunement.

Thanks for sharing! I have a question though: Your attribute stats are 524 combined. How do you get so many stats? I'm a new player sitting at 455 without attribute buff food with all purple gear except the weapon which is a legendary.

Thanks for watching! Attribute food and gear is the answer. Once you push your gear up into the 620 range you will start getting additional attribute points past the 500 mark.

Combina melhor com essa construção: Anel do Campeão, Brinco Caos Refletido, Amuleto Selo do Guarda dos Túmulos. 150 dex e 150 str + 200 cont. 5resiliente e 3 fortificação esquiva. 2 perk da arma.

hey nice video.. Im new to the game, how come you dont wear heavy armour ? Wouldnt more armour be better to protect yourself? thanks!

I’m a couple days old in the game, the armor weight is directly link to your dodge. So light armor allows you to do a roll back farther dodge animation where middle weight is only a hop and a skip and heavy is like a side step distance. So balancing armor weights is instrumental on how much it costs for you to use stamina to dodge plus the dodge distance and animation. Most people will run light armor everywhere middle chest (for most protection) and it still keeps them light with max dodge

Hey Hayden! I use light for this build in particular for the damage increase and mobility that you get in light armor.

What about Heart of Heka as opposed to Legate's Ring? The extra crit chance doesn't seem necessary due to the way crit works from what I saw recently, for 1, and secondly with GS you'll be getting guaranteed crits anyway. If Legate's had increase crit dmg I'd be all over it lol

Yeah you don’t need crit chance at all in the build tbh. Keen awareness on the ring would be better replaced by a different perk.

the pve version of this is rupture instead of steadfast. crosscut doesnt deal enough damage over trenchant strike gs even with thwarting strikes perk

I used this build but did not really work that well for me. I just went standard used all my points in the beserker mode and wallah I have tons of DPS power.

@@skjor1989 Check into split stat food. It’s usually much cheaper than the single stat food. So like str con food etc.

You could def go that route. The regular pants are just an easy farm for that slot.

Love how I was tossing everyone around first few days because I was probably 625 on it before most and had bis setup 4 shirking 3 freedom 5 resi bis con gs and bis spear my build was built around spear jav skewer and perforate. The rend then weaken for a following perforate with fority they get clapped now with runeglass auto auto and if not dead swap to gs to FINISH... yeah it was broken. I've seen my build from day 3 everywhere now if you're in light its even more op but the build is based off of playing in clump to get close to healers. The point was no matter what I did with my spear aslong as I get them lower then full health, all I need is to swap to the gs to finish. It's crazy.

It's Not broken. You can easily Dodge this. Ice Gauntlet and Hatchet still broken in my opinion.

Nah man you get kited hard. Dex bow/gs is the only op combo imo

everything is broken the.. muskets n bows, killing from distance with 2-3 hits.. other weapons with stun damage combos that delete u. fire staff rapier, magic builds u just cant kill, etc etc.. there r many strong build and weapons, and each has its place, strengths and weaknesses. a gud player knows how to fight most types, weapons and builds. or knows his place/role in a fight
