"Ten years have passed since the Lightbringers drove back the hordes of the Darkness and sealed the Portal from whence they came. The heroes thought their job done, but the newfound peace was never meant to last. Dangerous new Portals have suddenly opened up all across the land. The Darkness and its hordes are flooding through, stronger than ever. It will not be enough to simply close the Portals this time. The Lightbringers must travel through them into the unknown to destroy the Darkness once and for all. Either Light will triumph, or the Darkness will consume every being in the world. I finally got this game to table as a replacement game when one of our group was ill. It was a grand time. We did the tutorial and the first scenario of the core box. We are now going to start up the Heavenfall campaign, just need to fit it into the schedule around Darkest Dungeon. Thanks for the series. I was ignoring this game due to MD 1, this game is awesome, can't recommend MD 2 enough.

MD2 is exactly what MD1 should have been. MD1 was a shell of an experience and MD2 puts life into the game. Glad you’re enjoying it! I do too. 👍🏼

I've spent the last few days going through the MD1 campaign with the MD2 rules. Druid, Wizard, Paladin, Bard, Rogue and Ranger. I am only using heroes from Zombicide: Black Plague and Massive Darkness 1 to keep my MD2 experience pure when I get to it. It's been a lot of fun, the difficulty remains consistently deadly now because of all of the black dice. Ranged weapons are absolutely everything. I had to start moving everyone over to bows because the Ranger was getting way too much XP on his own. They've done a pretty good job on the campaigns, can't wait until I get caught up and start making it through the MD2 stuff.

That’s a worthwhile thing to do! The MD2 ruleset would certainly make the original much more enjoyable. Thanks for sharing what you’re doing. It’s cool to hear how people are mixing and matching things. CMON was wise to allow MD1 and Black Plague to be used. The amount of content is pretty insane.

This was not a synopsis of Havenfall. It's a 3 part video with the 1st part touches on the initial changes then dives into game play. The 2nd part is over an hour of game play (I skipped).

Great videos! Do you heal back to full health and mana during the town phase? Do you have to discard any remaining loot tokens you have at the end of the town phase?

on the 7 Items you can carry over to the next quest, is that above and beyond the items you have equipped on your hero dashboard or is that including what's on the dashboard and in your inventory? any help clarifying would be appreciated! Thanks Pete
