When you came back from your break from posting, I could tell you had lost weight and it REALLY shows now! Any weight-loss tips would be greatly appreciated. Wow! Thanks! I wish I had some tips, but to make a long story short, my doctor recommended I use Wegovy for lowering pre diabetes and weight. I’m a big believer in it!

I only use foldable laundry baskets! It made it all so much easier! Btw. those big baskets of yours are more of a lady bug style. Too big for a cricket. Crickets like small(er) compartments/categories. ☺️ Regarding the green jackets: I'd keep the thicker one. Looked nice. 😊 Great job! Closet looks awesome now! ❤

Yeah, I have been wondering if I was a ladybug. I think I have a mix of both. I want most everything hidden and I like them compartmentalized, but I also don't always take the time to put things away (like decanting). And duh! 🤦🏻♀ Why didn't I think of folding laundry baskets?! Genius!

Just found out your channel and I love clean and declutter motivation so I'm subscribing right away 🤗 I was just a bit sad when you've shown a bag full of clothes and other junk for garbage as discarding clothes that can' be donated are by far the hardest ones for me so I wished you would filmed while tossing them and not only the bag at the end. Knowing me, this bag would probably just be waiting in the garage for months untill I get the courage to dump it in the dumpster haha so I need to discard things I don't want anymore directly with the regular trash 😅 I hope you'll have more clothes that can't be donated to toss in the future also if you have nicer paper clutter like fashion magazines/catalogues/flyers, those also I struggle so much to toss in the trash 😔

@@reallifewithali Haha that's even more sad that it was filmed but not uploaded then 😆 I don't have subscription to any magazines either but some what some ways I still have too much haha Some was from previous tenants, random promotions, or just nicer catalogues and flyers that are given while buying something or by the mail. I'll check your other videos so I'll probably find it 🤗

Never Buy pants too long - you know you will balk at shortening them - Buy ankle length! Closet and shoe shelf and bins looking good!

Thank you! I’m glad this motivated you! I am on Wegovy injections. My doctor recommended it because I was pre-diabetic. The medication is meant for diabetes, but a side effect is losing weight! 😊

Good tips! One question that I have found helpful is have you worn it in the last year. I sometimes have items that I love but don't wear for many reasons. It can be a lifestyle issue, or I don't have the right item to wear with it. In that case, you have to make a decision. I also have a bin of items I cannot wear at present but hope to one day. I call it my hopes and dreams bin. I found it helps to take notes about what you eliminate. Styles, colors, details, fits and brands that just don't work for you. Then you remember these details when shopping. Good luck!

Ali you look amazing! I bet it felt soooo good to get rid of everything that no longer fits! I laughed really hard at the Peeps 😂 I knew you were a cricket like me! ❤️🦗 I use mesh laundry baskets from Walmart that fold up. They have handles so I can fold and hang them behind the door when not using them. I got enough to sort my clothes into and they hold an average size load. I keep one regular laundry basket in the bathroom and we toss everything into it, then I use the folding ones to sort and carry loads to the laundry room on laundry day (or when basket gets full.) My son has one in his room too. They stand upright so they don't use much floors space. I don't know if I'm describing my system well but it works for me. Lol! Have a great week! ❤️

Yes the laundry system makes sense. I guess I didn’t say how often I use the baskets. I really only use them for the times I’m too tired to fold the laundry in the dryer and I need to put wet clothes in there. I also use them for things like returns, but with the plastic bins, maybe I can just get rid of them and use a pop up hamper instead. Thanks for the idea! So I took the test again and was ladybug this time. 🤔 So I’m not sure! I just know I don’t like visual clutter and like things organized. But I also like things to be easy and quick so maybe I’m more of a ladybug. Who knows! Haha.

@reallifewithali I think we can have different bug tendencies depending on the area of our home and the season of life we're in. I am 1000% cricket, but lately I've been embracing ladybug characteristics because I'm too busy to keep up with the cricket need to be overly detailed. My mother in law organizes her drawers like a ladybug, but her antique glassware is organized like a butterfly/bee on top of her kitchen cabinets (which gives me anxiety lol). I see your inner cricket in the way you organized your shoes, clothes and canned goods 😄

Hi Ali, I recently came across your channel when I was doing my own closet organization and startd styling my clothes and I love your videos. I m 58 and I just learned my closet overflows with clothes I dont wear. Bec. I did not know my color analysis. I learned that I am a warm colored autumn which you seem like you are too. I am planning on labeling them! I just bought a label maker that will make larger labels. I just need to break it open and use it! My husband's side is pretty bad. I have helped him several times before, but he just struggles with putting things away AND getting rid of stuff. Maybe I need to look at Clutterbug's organizing styles to see what works best for him. 🤔 Thanks for the idea!

I have to ask - why do you have candy and food in your closet and drawers? It’s funny but I’m seriously curious. As a fellow cricket - a minimalist one - the rule of “like with like” is huge for me, so food lives in the kitchen and compartmentalized to the max. 😉
