I have beef with that instruction manual! It doesn't tell you anything about sleep disturbs or overfeeds. It also looks identical to the tamagotchi manual, so I always assumed it worked the same way and always ended up with the same mons! On the subject of tamagotchis though, I've unboxed many blister-sealed tamas that use LR44s - you'd be surprised how well they last; as long as you take the old batteries out, and maybe clean the contacts, they've been fine for me. Having said that I know you'd probably never open that original Digital Monster! Anyway I'm so glad your channel has grown to a place where it can reward you for the hard work you put into it- you really deserve it! Happy 5 years on KZfaq! x

I got one too a few months ago, specifically the italian version of the package, not much different except for the italian stuff on the box and the logo of the distributor "Giochi preziosi". I remember seeing one in a toy store when i was a kid, but my parents never got me one at the time, now that i'm a full grown ass adult i managed to get a lot of them ahahaha!

I see that older V-pet has Dutch text on the box, but weirdly enough I don't remember us getting these. We also had the Tamagotchi craze over here in the Netherlands but most of the merch did not seem to have made it to stores near me.

In September of last year, I dug out my old, original brown brick Digimon V-pet and got it going, just on a whim. I got it when I was like 7, and my brother had one, and we played them, but I was too young to understand the complexities of them back then. I'd basically just feed them and train. Once I got it going again, I discovered your videos and this awesome community, and now I'm all in. I have 6 of the V-pets now (I know, still a small collection), and I've got the Vital Bracelet BE on my wrist right now. Such a cool franchise and community behind it. 10:38 they messed up the pre-evolution conditions of Magnadramon making it evolve from Angemon. interestingly the original Japanese card did not have ExTyrannomon as a potential pre-evolution either, but Angewomon and Panjiyamon and a jogress between Angewomon and Lillymon.

I wish I knew about the digivices as a kid. No one I knew watched digimon except my step brother. I played the original digimon world on the ps1 and I always wanted one of the digivices. I also grew up with all the guys playing with the tamagotchis lol. I’m happy they made the 20th and such so I can kinda try it.

Thankfully, I've gotten KZfaq Premium. Maybe I shouldn't, but oh well, I just use KZfaq like my own customisable telly channel. That said, despite never having seen that in the Netherlands, that already sent WAVES of nostalgia over me. Probably as a child, if I had ever seen any of that in a toy store without a goal in mind? I probably would've snapped it up. Because I do remember being into Digimon as a kid, I had the digimon world 1 and 2 games on PS, I definitely checked out the anime. But I've never gone as far as merch. Also, I'd love to share the screenshots on a different discord server of that metalgreymon. I've seen it before but it really does look so cool. But do I only need to credit them to the people you talked about who made it?

I didn’t know that the small round battery in original version can destroy inside of vpet. I remember buying a lot of them when I was young and most of them can’t start again after a year or so. I didn’t took out the battery. Now I know why. Will the ECR2032 battery have the same problem like this? I’m just making sure my other devices won’t have a problem. But I took out the battery every time I stop using so I’m just being safe than sorry.
