MASSIVE FIRE BROKE OUT AT KITSUBOZOU, KOHIMA; SEVERAL SHOPS, CARS GUTTED INTO ASHES

A massive fire broke out today at Kitsubozou (Chodu Bosti) opposite to chakhesang Baptist Church. Around 14 shops (Pan shops, 2nd hand shops, and hardware shops) with 2 rented houses and 6 cars were burnt down by the massive fire said the chairman of KITSUBOZOU panchayat Mr. Dzieseneilie Sachu. Sachu while talking to NLTV stated that he saw smoke coming up around 12 pm when he was on his way back home, meanwhile, he also thanked the police, army, fire department, and colony people for their contribution in helping out in putting out the fire.
While interviewing with one of the shop owners who owned a variety store, he said that the fire broke out at 11:30 am and started from downstairs next door. Items damaged cost around 5 lakhs and 15 lakhs cash including household items like tv, fridge, and everything that costs more than 30 lakhs turned into ashes added the shop owner.
No casualties, according to the report.

Wonder who/what had caused this massive fire, pity the people who's house/properties got burned the authorities should definitely investigate this matter so the next time it doesn't happen remember guys awareness is important carelessness is not an option

Maybe some wealthy philanthropist can donate a couple of powerful water pumps to the S.firestation. Unless they are drawing from some other reserves or underground pump, all i saw was one pump to refill the trucks.

There's just 1 house between my house and the burnt down house, and I saw everything first hand including speaking to all the victim families. Please don't accuse someone online like this and go against them with false information yourself. Unless, if you're also my neighbor and doesn't know anything about the incident yet.
