I just recently started watching your videos as I happened to stumble across one while searching turkey hunting videos earlier this spring. I am hooked and watch at least one a day now. You cover such a wide variety of outdoor activities that it never gets dull. I just concluded my 28th turkey hunting season, and it was a great one here in Iowa. I filled an archery tag during 3rd season on a 26 lb. bird at 9 yards. 4th season was even better as my son and I were both able to harvest mature birds with a shotgun on the same morning. Helping my son harvest his first turkey a few years ago was extremely special, but being able to double up with him was even more so. Thank you for great, entertaining content to watch, but even more so for always including your wonderful family and giving all the grace and glory to God!

Greetings from Wisconsin! I’ll be turkey hunting for the first time ever this year, grew up in the city with no knowledge of hunting until I moved to the frozen north, my girlfriends dad took me under his wing and has been teaching me all about hunting and this spring is turkey lessons

Followed your recipe, just a few changes. Added peas and airfryed the asparagus whole with lemon pepper. Fantastic - kids loved it. Was my son's 5th Turkey, bitter sweet that it is the end of his youth day hunting. Before he went into the woods by himself he said "Dad let me listen to DeermeatforDinner call a turkey one more time before I go. Turkey was hung up but he was patient. After 1 hour, he smoked him! Thank you for your inspiration to our kids.

Still after 17 years of turkey hunting and all the people that I have hunted with my favorite person to hunt with is my dad. Every time we go I learn something new. We hunt here in south Alabama. The early mornings on a hill top listening for the first gobble of the season is what we wait for. After the hunt, regardless if we get one or not, the stories of past hunts are what I look forward to each and every spring

Never been more excited for a turkey season as this one. Going to try and get my son on his first bird this year. South Carolina youth weekend is this weekend in our game zone. I remember hunting with my grandpa years ago and turkey hunting to me is the most exciting and challenging. Wish us luck.

Hunting turkeys again this year in SC. Family land near Walterboro, SC. My daughter who is 15 and learning to drive will hunt again with me this year. This will he my 5th year trying for a turkey. Maybe this year it will work out. Last year was exciting with my daughters first turkey hunting. We had a gobbler at 65 yards gobbling his head off but wouldnt come closer. Very frustrating but exciting. This year my daughter will be on the gun. Im gonna do my best to call her in a tom so she can get him. Shes my last child and hope for creating an outdoors person who hunts and fishes. My older 3 have chosen to let it go. I love you channel Robert. I have been turkey hunting with my dad for the last 16 years. We don’t miss a single season here! My dad was even doing chemo treatments last year and we were out making memories in the field. Your videos are such an inspiration! We are preparing to bust out the Remington 870s in a month!

Your girls are so cute. They add a nice touch to your videos. I learned to hunt turkey in NE Missouri. Saw flocks over 100 strong there. Also in eastern Virginia but they were so wary and smart you couldn’t get near them. Every morning they’d step out of the woods and go straight to the middle of the field and walk straight down the middle, well out of range, feeding as they went and disappear again. When I came back home to Maine I got my grandsons started. One of the three is hooked. I don’t hunt much anymore but I have lots of fond memories! 🦃

I'm 14 and I live in elk wa I haven't hunted turkey yet but this year I'm going to. When I deer hunt I use rifle but this year I'm only hunting with bow thank you and your family for the great love and support and the great recipes. haha.

What a Sweetheart Aria is, I love watching you raise both your girls, Rob and Sarah! You were asking who I like to Turkey hunt with, I've only been once when my Wife and I lived in Southern Manitoba, Canada. We spent a few mornings and evenings in our blind together. In the end we didn't come away with any birds but I will always cherish that time with my Wife. Irene, (my Wife) passed away 3 years ago from complications from her type 1 Diabetes, a horrible disease she had since she was a small girl and that took her far too soon, a month away from her 50th birthday, I think of her everyday and even more so when in our blind hunting deer or Moose now in Alberta. I'm not trying to make this a sob story, just remember that life can spin around in an instant and throw chaos into your life with no rhyme or reason, so cherish your family and your time with them only looking back to remember and always looking forward to life's next adventures.

And I cried! Arya has an old soul in that youngin's body! God Bless her and your whole family!
