I love big eyeshadow palette collections and declutter videos! I always say to each their own. I work hard and eyeshadow palettes are my weakness and they make me happy to look at, wear, swatch.... Like I tell my hubby we could have worse habits, lol (he collects tools 😉). I love the idea of bookshelves for display and storing but my book shelves are full of books and I am out of space. 🤔🤫🤗

I collect palettes too, and work hard so I don’t feel too guilty when I buy a new one now and then. I have regular ‘sip and swatch’ times where I go through random palettes in my collections, and swatch them for fun while sipping a drink. 🍹🧉🍷🍸🥃🍺☕️

You can try to depot that Alien palette, Jeffree's shades are magnetic so you can just put them on a magnetic palette and you'll save some space!

I remember my military days. At the time I had two large Estee Lauder eyeshadow palettes my aunt gifted me for Christmas. Mostly neutrals and I hit pan on quite a number of those shades.

I love the long video! I’d love to see a video on your all time favorite shimmer/wet look eyeshadows. I don’t wear a ton of eyeshadow but I do love those wet look topper shades and need some good ones, singles or in a palette! Thank you for the long declutter Ashley! Same! I don't quite want an eye shadow collection as large as this, but I have definitely grown my collection a lot over the last 2 years! I hate having to get up early to put on a lot of makeup before going to work. But I love playing and switching all the fun colors and textures!

I love eyeshadow palettes, especially colorful,looks. I am an artist, so I love color. After all, the face is just another canvas. I love looking at other peoples collection, and mine is fairly large considering I am not on KZfaq.(no one wants to see a 65 year old using lots of shimmers) duo and multichromes are my kryptonite. I do have a running list of my palettes, and try to choose a different one every day so I can use my full collection. I also don’t care about using more than I palette at a time-I just don’t mind mixing. I am an artist, so the more shadows I have I am happy. Just found your channel and am liking it a lot!

This was a fun video to watch. Love your passion for your eyeshadow collection. I believe we can try them all if we rotate. I wrote “we” because I have also a nice collection. I rotate after using a palette at least 4 times and push myself to use all the shades. Date them and a check mark on each shade to remember I use it 😂. Thank u for such an entertaining and informative video.

I use the shimmers in my Huda Neon Obsessions palettes quite a lot. They're really pretty. It's fun seeing someone on YT that likes pressed glitters. I like them too. Sometimes easier to use then finicky indie shimmers... Ohmmg 😁we seem to like a lot of the same palettes. I love my TF, JSC and UD too which also seems rather unpopular on YT. And you got Norvina too 😍I unsuccessfully attempted an eyeshadow declutter today but so far no luck. I have 1 or 2 CP that I'm going to depot and maybe some small Oden's Eye but otherwise I don't want to let anything else go right now... I would love less bulk but I don't want less palettes😅.. I did a bit of a lip product declutter and foundations. I'm decluttering quite a few other things in my apartment to generally make more room.

I just decluttered probably 500 hundred makeup items I bought a beautiful bookcase to store all my eyeshadows I thought I would keep more than I did but eyeshadow formulas have really come a long way in the past 3 years my older pallets just couldn't compete

I think a lot of the people who give away half or more of their collection have an easier time doing so because they get most of their collection in PR. When you don’t pay for something, it’s easier to let it go in my opinion. I had 300 palettes and just decluttered 20 (gave most away and threw away 4 due to old age or poor quality). There were a couple more I thought about decluttering but I decide to wait on them because they are sentimental since they were given as gifts. My goal is to only get 24 palettes this year. That may seem like A LOT abut for someone who was buying sometimes 10 palettes a month back in 2021, 24 is a modest amount for me. Next year I can reduce it to even less palettes. I declutter once a year and it helps my collection not get too out of hand. 😊

Think this may be the biggest eyeshadow collection to date I have watched. I wouldnt necessarily call this video a declutter; more like a collection one. I truly believe you dont need that many neutral palettes 😅 but in the end, this is your make up collection. To me it would be a bit overwhelming to have that amount of make up, but again, this is me and that is you :)

I’m not a fan of Pat McGrath, but those mini palettes with frosted plastic packaging are phenomenal. Better than a mothership of hers I tried to be honest. And way cheaper. I got the neutral one off sephoras site a couple years back when she had them for half off. Have panned three of the five shades in there. Don’t regret that purchase. Definitely regret purchasing a mothership and a few quads of hers though.

My eye doctor had to numb my eyeball and pull it out with micro tweezers. I got eye drops and a really sexy eye patch…..I would prefer to not repeat that amazing experience…..

How many of these are you actually gonna use? I had a few hundred myself at one point and I came To the realization that even though I love a lot of the color stories…i was hardly gonna use any. I decided to keep only ones that I was gonna use at least a third to a half of the palette. I narrowed my collection down to a little over 100 and I’m so happy I did so. I don’t feel so overwhelmed now. So many of my palettes I just forgot about until I’d go through my collection periodically.

Have you thought about depotting the JSC palettes that are hard to store? I have conspiracy and Blood money and I am considering taking the Shades out and putting them in a Z palette instead.

I tried but it was hard for me to depot. I tried depotting the blood lust but started cracking a shade with the spatula, so I aborted the mission. 😅 I’m going to put that palette in a plastic bag because it attracts dust since it had a crushed velvet texture.

Love your channel and your collection. One of the things I love about you is that you stick to your convictions about various things, including whose palettes you chose to buy, and not using foul language on your channel. There are some that use extreme foul language their entire videos, and I turn them off. I'm not there to hear how cool they think are talking like that. I'm there for good make-up.

I want to love the 9 pan Huda palettes. But the formula is wretched, in my experience. It seems like once they sit for a month, the formula self destructs. I still buy the large palettes, but no more of those...

I even had moments as I worked a beauty counter then I switched positions didn't have to wear it and then COVID and I stopped altogether and I still collect I realized I still love makeup especially eyeshadow my weakness yes but I don't miss wearing it. i feel like it's kind of weird to ask for absolutely no criticism for monetarily supporting someone who's openly hateful and racist. it's "just makeup", but it has his name and face all over it so it's impossible to separate him from it. this isn't a hate, just something to think about.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion and you don't have to like someone putting out products or purchasing their items, but all I asked is that people weren't rude to each other in the comments. Ultimately, we don't all have the same opinion but we don't have to be rude to each other about it.
