Hey, just wanted to say I’ve really enjoyed your hauls so far. You do a great job of explaining series without spoilers. Side note though, I highly recommend you read the One Piece volumes. The physicals are so nice, and it’s not really a collectors set since it probably won’t go out of print for an extremely long time, if ever. Also, compared to other series it looks so much better on a bookshelf as well. Anyways, that’s all. It’s my favourite manga so far (I’m enjoying it much more than the anime), so I just wanted to let you know that you should experience it through the physicals that you own :)

wow that haul was insane dude!!! my biggest manga haul was maybe seven volumes. also if your looking for manga recs I recommend Yotsuba, its a really fun light hearted splice of life.

Really loved the video, I got really hyped when it got to Golden Kamuy. It's my favourite ongoing series right now, thinking about reading it makes me smile. Where does GK rank in your favourite mangas?

It’s definitely high up there. The more I read it the more I fall in love with it. Right now it’s looking to be either a 9.5 or 10 out of 10, but won’t know for sure until its done.

I would recommend you D.Gray-man, Black Cat, Get Backers or Deadman Wonderland. Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee) is nice too. I took a break from manga a while ago and am now diving into it again (about ten years later that is xD). I couldn't read manga out of personal reasons at that time but I missed it and now I really have fun again collecting (my wallet on the other hand hasn't fun xD).

Wow, Mushishi? I'm jealous😩 I have the last three volumes in omnibus and I have been trying for a while now to get the rest, but it's impossible to find them in English(at a reasonable price). All I can find are German and French volumes😔

I read One Piece to take a break from all the serious and heavy seinen manga I read. One Piece is the guilty pleasure..kind of like ice cream for me 😂

Great haul! Check out Cirque du Freak (The Saga of Darren Shan). It's a great manga adaptation of a dark Irish adventure fantasy series. It just started getting omnibus releases. I also highly recommend: Hunter x Hunter Soul Eater Remina Magi Made in Abyss Ultraman Prison School Lindbergh (this might be super hard to find, not sure)

I know there was a sale not too long ago with One Punch Man but only a select few volumes were in the sale. Sadly I have not run into good deals with Golden Kamuy. My used manga shop even had some but they were still priced high :/ they had it priced higher than right stuf!! Blasphemy

This will be long comment I hope You'll read.You guys are so lucky for living in a native English countries because you have a lot of access to the mangas at reasonable prices.I am an Turkish gal living ın Istanbul where the biggest city ın Turkey but It Isn't enough for the access to the mangas.Yes We have translated Mangas just like Noragami,AOT...but It isnt enough like I said before.In a few stores you can buy English Volumes but these are really expensive just like 80 USD as we think like USD.This is insane dude.I mean I am envying you and know that you are lucky for keep this collection in your hands.I hope one day I will have something like that.Keep collect man

That’s wonderful you were finally able to find Mushishi in great condition at a good price . So the One Piece Box set was shrink wrapped ? So was my Dragon Ball boxed set from eBay and the collector/ purist in me May now have to find cheap “beater” copies because it’s sacrilegious to break a shrink wrap seal for me ;-(

People always like to give me crap for liking things sealed. Someone told me “it doesn’t make you a better collector than anyone else”, and my thought was just like what? I don’t collect to be “better” than anyone else. I collect for MYSELF.

Lmao well I PREFER sealed who doesn’t !? Toy collectors MUST have unopened packaging for the most value . Hell I buy boatloads of expensive antique books and even have them restored. Do I ever read them !? NO!!! Instead I buy cheaper and lighter paper back editions I can just spill anything on and not give a shit- plus they’re much less heavy but I miss out on all the special artwork etc :-)
