Gido's Fishing Adventures

2 жыл бұрын

Last mission for the trip was to get a few muddies for a feed and most of all to take home as the kids had requested. Safe to say I was successful and the kids thought Christmas had come early when I arrived home with alive muddies 2 days later.
For those wondering crabs can drop claws as defence mechanism and then they regrow after a few months

Your adventures are all time mate. To compare you to other fisho youtubers - with you it’s all about the adventure and the fish, with the others like Brodie moss for example it seem to be more about “him”…to me that’s the difference.. Your vids are honest and genuine..just my opinion. Onya Gido!

For anyone wondering, those red rocks are pretty much pure iron oxide, or "rust". Some of the world's biggest and most profitable iron mines are in this region, for fairly obvious reasons. Pretty hard country to live, though.

the rocks behind camp remind me of the black mountain, kinda spooky, i'm so glad you did a mud crab feed, ive watched the old Aussie series , Malcom Douglas era, bush tucker man ect. the few that have made it over to the U.S. and the mud crabs and crayfish make me envious for sure , all your fish stock do, we are depleted beyond belief and most toxic here, glad to see its still like that out there somewhere, its a happy thought for the day, much appreciated !
@martingoodef811
@martingoodef811 2 жыл бұрын
It actually is depleted but not to the extent of your area wherever that may be. We have very few in Australia that travel to these areas. The crabs are small compared to previous years, same for the fish along this north coast of WA. due to long line and net fishing.

Gido, tying up that crab with cord, seems a complicated idea. Here in the U.k we use 4 -6mm wide elastic bands, & while you've got it held down, simply wrap it round the claw a few times, then do the other one, & no nipping......done!
