The siren was made in Quebec by a Quebec company so obviously they would use the one made in Quebec. Same goes for the buses in the province. The majority of all city buses you see in the cities and even in the countrysides are mostly made by the Quebec company Novabus. Same goes for the coach buses. Go to Quebec and you'll see mostly Prevost. Another Quebec company. I find Quebec very interesting and unique compared to the rest of the country honestly.

In Québec we use american cars as much as japanese and european cars i know thi because im in Québec and most of those cars are made in canada ex: doge demon or honda civic

I don’t think they are responding to a code 3, they are just here to secure the area as they do during all events downtown, note the unmarked Dodge Caravan is the SPVM Event coordinator. You can also see the police cars behind the sweeping trucks, they will follow them while sweeping the street right after any parade is done so then motorists will be behind the police cars. I have personally worked with the city / SPVM / SIM during big events (St Patrick / Canada Day / Défi Pierre Lavoie...) and this is how they do, we close the streets with barriers and cones but there will be 1 or 2 or 3 police car at each intersections then when the parade is at a certain point, a mobile command center will be at the end of the parade, cycling police then signalisation company to remove all barriers and signs then sweeping trucks then at least 10 police cars followed by the motorists
