Jinshi is amazing, both in gameplay and story. Really loved the last part at Jue battle, the VA, her scream at the end was amazing in Japanese and English. Pulling her is absolutely not a bad decision like many Changli fans want you to believe. This patch characters are all winners. Being a chad and pulling them both.

I love how Mina kept talking about how Changli's eyes are so insane, meanwhile they actually look VERY similar to the eyes on her own model. The main difference is that Changli has kinda diamond shaped pupils.

The reason 1.1 feels way more hype, at least IMO, is that the pacing of the story is building way better into the climax of the story. Act V ended with the fight against the Mech Abomination and from there didn't get the time to calm down and build hype again and instead felt like it was trying to go at 100 the whole time. 1.1 got to start slow with meeting Abby and build from meeting Changli through all of the story into the climax that is the finale.

1.1 story is a 9 out of 10 for me. I have a few issues that aren't story related, so they don't affect my score. 1.0 act 1... I hardly knew yah. 😋

Thought the beginning of the story was charming in it's own way. Probably too harsh of a rating there even if yapyap was still prevalent. Abby's interactions with Rover were still enjoyable and Chixia brought her own charm to it. Changli made the middle portion more enjoyable than it probably should've been given all the exposition. Insane to me how her in game model is so much better than the initial splash arts we saw of her earlier (usually it's the other way around). Went from an easy skip to must pull. The ending was very compelling and a lot better than 1.0's cresecendo imo. Would've been absolutely peak if Jinhsi died while saving Jinzhou after all the allusions to how dangerous it was going to be but it's understandable that they didn't want to kill her off. Despite some odd translations ("Absolutely no" instead of Absolutely not", "this one" etc solid 8/10 story overall. I look forward to how things develop moving forward

I don't think the story is great...but the VA and story is much better. The story just didn't make a lot of sence the more it went on with forcing a fight at the end. But love the update overall...just wish they would fix the tech stuff.
