This is lovely and soothing. Beautiful stitch definition. Great stitch for crocheting sweaters and scarves when working the panels lengthwise. The ridges look beautiful that way. An example showing that a pattern doesn't always need to be complex to be impressing. Hello:) so I noticed when I tried to make this the top right corner and the edges were not turning straight up they were slanting to the right so if I made a blanket it wouldn’t come out square. I’ve crocheting for about a year, any idea why that happens? Would I need to do the 1st stitch twice and the 2nd one once?

Try maintaining a consistent tension throughout your work.Then double-check your work carefully: have you accidentally skipped a stitch, especially at the end of rows?
