Thanks for the nice compliment. Allot of people have used a Masso controller for those applications. My experience with Masso has been great but I have learned from past builds to take my time and start with only a very basic configuration at first. Once the basic motors and drivers are working well you can add more features and sort them out as you go. This slower paced approach will save you lots of time and be much less frustrating in the end.

Yes it's in the final stages of beta testing. I've been running for a couple months now and I'm happy with the results. I did report some minor issues that I noticed with G2&G3 moves last week but overall it works well. I need to do more test but so far I've run a number of parts with it and hitting my numbers even with interpolated holes.

@@testyourdesign233 hello buddy, did you get their new controller? Suppose to be 4 times faster than the last one. The software is independent of the card? I mean you will receive updates from the new software even for an older controller? Thanks in advance!

@@johnlocke9609 no new controller yet. They will support the older controller with regular updates since they both use the same software. Backlash compensation and probing was released with last update V3.42. It's working very well. Check out my other video on backlash compensation.

@@testyourdesign233 thanks for your fast reply. Obviously the reason I ask, is because I'm at edge to buy the milling version with the 5 axis. I was ready to buy an Acorn, but just a few I/O. Not even for all the basic things in a mill. Then looked at the Centroid Oak, and was ready to pay the 1600. Let my self without money. Very professional. But believe it of not, it doesn't include the software to enable 5 axis + . Unless you pay 1500 USA permission. Or 5000 international. Imagine that!!!!

@@johnlocke9609 Glad to hear you are interested in Masso controllers. Integrating CNC controls on a manual mill is an ongoing project but I am very happy with my Masso controller and the customer support that Masso provides. The acorn is a very good controller as well so either choice would be a good one. In case you were not aware Masso is still developing some of the advanced functions for the 4th and 5th axis features so some of the functions may not be available just yet but based on the user feedback and comments that Masso-Support posted in the forum I know a few guys are working with alpha versions of the 4th axis so it won't be long before we get more improvements. Keep me posted on your progress and post a video of you machine build. We all enjoy this type of content.
