I have enough trouble managing my own MCAS. I can’t imagine trying to manage two other people as well. 😟

Do you want to know why long c word overlaps mcas? It's because the c word is caused by frequency. Just the same way mcas are sensitive to wifi and have symptoms from that.

@@jamesvaughan4274 mine just think it’s all in my head but I had to pay privately to get my allergies shown because again my doctors thought it was in my head . It annoys me I’ve worked in the health care world for 30 plus years and it’s crazy they don’t listen because if you have allergies it’s hard living with so many . A doctor at minor injuries told me to constantly do online consultations till they listen . I’ve been a year asking for help and they don’t know how to help . Ask for a ige blood test , keep on at them to they listen .

Try an allergist? Some are well versed with MCAS.

@@aboveaverage4296 You are correct. In the USA, they often like to pretend it's the same thing. Also, a hematologist, that is knowledgeable, might help.

Drinking plenty of water every day is essential for all bodily functions, including the regulation of histamine levels. Water does aid in the removal of histamines from the body as more that 95% of excess histamines are removed from the body through the urine. Curcumin inhibits Syk kinase-dependent signaling events in mast cells and might thus contribute to its antiallergic activity. Therefore curcumin might be useful for the treatment of mast cell-related immediate and delayed allergic diseases. Chamomile is typically consumed as a tea. Fresh flowers are frequently available and are preferable to dried. One study suggests that, in mast cell-mediated allergic models, chamomile acted in a dose-dependent manner to inhibit histamine release from mast cells. Vitamin D contributes to mast cell stabilization.

Our result also suggests that magnesium, by stabilizing mast cell membranes, could reduce morphine-induced mast cell activation and, thus, the onset of paradoxical pain and adverse morphine effects such as pruritus een Tea: Contains polyphenols (such as EGCG) which counter inflammation. Green tea is also high in quercetin, making it a natural anti-histamine. Ginger may work against allergies as well. "A 2016 animal study showed ginger suppressed production of certain cytokines that cause mast cell activation, thereby leading to prevention and alleviation of allergic rhinitis symptoms," she says. Vitamin C has many immune boosting properties, but is distinctively beneficial for individuals with seasonal discomfort because of its ability to deactivate histamine. Vitamin B12 significantly inhibits mast cell degranulation by 27% at 0.00015%. Zinc is required in multiple steps of FcεRΙ-induced mast cell activation, including degranulation and cytokine production. Zinc levels depend on FcεRΙ-induced granule translocation, regulated by a Fyn/Gab2/RhoA-mediated signaling pathway. Histamine intolerance (HIT) is assumed to be due to a deficiency of the gastrointestinal (GI) enzyme diamine oxidase (DAO) and, therefore, the food component histamine not being degraded and/or absorbed properly within the GI tract. Histamine-rich foods can cause DAO enzymes to function improperly. Some foods can block DAO enzymes or trigger histamine release. Bacterial overgrowth: When your body is unable to digest food properly, bacteria grow, causing you to produce too much histamine. Theanine is a candidate amino acid for pharmacological stabilization of mast cells. Ginger root is a natural histamine blocker and supports the immune system. Ginger also supports gut health. Natural antihistamines may help you control your seasonal allergies. Common ones are stinging nettle, vitamin C, quercetin, butterbur, bromelain, and probiotics. Some alternative practices-such as acupuncture, nasal irrigation, and exercise-may also help you manage symptoms.
