I'm still a fairly new Cosmetologist and in school they NEVER taught us how to do beard trims. Today I skipped a client because I was terrified to do it, I hopped on youtube to watch videos of it and honestly after watching this video I feel like I could almost tackle any beard walking in very specific to his beard type, but also tips and tricks that you can use for any! Amazing!!

This was really informative. I have almost the exact beard as the guy in the chair and it is about the same length. I began my journey to the yeard on November 1st of last year. I just recently bought the sample scents from beardbrand to know which scent I am going to be using from here on out.

I use a hair cutting machine that hooks up to a vacuum cleaner (the one I have is thirty years old and is the precursor to the Flo Bee). It has different length tubes that allow you to choose between lots of hair lengths. The tube keeps the trimmer away from your head so it's impossible to make a mistake.

Har to pick what's more amazing in this. The barbers awesome beard (is he a secret wizard in his spare time, or sitting in the corner of pubs giving out life advice over a whiskey ?) Or the fact that he uses a Jack Daniels bottle for spray water. This is all so many my own beard just grew 2 inches

I miss the barbers in the UK, i was always satisfied. Since i came back too Perth WA...after 4 barbers and each one was very disappointing...so much that i was forced to cut me own...and now glad for it, sometime i would like too be pampered again like the pro's in the UK. Were is the shop based the only decent beard trim I can get is by going for a Turkish cut but it’s abit to far from where I live so always got a scruffy over grown beard except for a few days every couple a month when I can get there

While I do agree with you hasn't it always been that way? I'm sure in the 1950s you could walk into a barbershop and see men sporting a flip in the front.

always gonna be the case, there's too many people and not enough different styles (realistic styles that is) And if you try too hard to be different you just come of as someone who is just that...trying too hard to be different and wanting attention. I am personally fine with my longer hair, tied back. Its nothing extraordinary or unseen, but you also don't see it on every-other dude either. Just standing out a little, is usually enough.

Hey, I've got a beard since about 8 years back. It does come to a point where it just seems to stop growing..I've never got it really really long, any pointers?? I trim it just a little bit sometimes cause it grows more on the sides and down the neck. Great channel. I just subbed.

There definitely is such a thing as "terminal growth" where the hair can just stop. Our advice is get a simple and light trim from time to time in order to snip off any dead ends and to encourage further growth. - Jack

I just had a gentleman who trimmed my beard a week ago, and honestly did the worst job ever, one side was cut way shorter then the other and he cut way too much off. He could learn a thing or two from you, that is for sure.

You could try to set and shape your beard with the use of a hair dryer and a round brush.

Beardbrand thx for your reply I tried that but cuz of cold weather and wind or in normal day during the day its get out of shape and some beard hair go one side and some to other . I try useing hair spary for now if u can give any tips in which cutting or triming not allowed and I am 21 and I never cut my beard it's fully natural
