A pro tip I learned....my dad is a builder and we bought some Ikea cabinets that once assembled the doors were hanging like yours. I thought they were defective but turns out you can simply loosen and tighten the tension on the screws on the hinges until they hang as needed. Play around with tightening and loosening them until you find the sweet spot where they hang nicely and evenly. He explained floors arnt always level and ours definitely weren’t and it’s as simple as that. Our doors hang so much better and it would never have occurred to me that this could be a solution as we just tightened all the screws until they wouldn’t tighten anymore. The slightest release of tension helps them drop a little and tightening can pull them up a little. Great job on all your hard work ❤️🤗

Hi, next time you work on a door like that, try using a hand plainer for getting that smoothed out between the door opening were you need it. It will help, and you'll have fun using it.

Hello 👋🏽 Sophia, looking at the doors, I noticed that the top left hinges on the left is slightly lower then the top hinge on the right and this is what is causing the unevenness and the small in your doors . Hope this helps. All in all, as always I love the work that you do. 👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️

You’re doing a great job! FYI, if you have never wallpapered a ceiling, it is very hard to do . Your back and neck and arms will scream at you! Plus the job of handling wallpaper that is hanging while you are trying to apply it,.....gravity is against you. It is a two man job 👍

Sophia, the closet is great. Should you not have put the first long piece of the door design only on half of the right hand door? That way it would overlap onto the left hand door when closed and the rest of the design would be completely in the middle and equal on both sides when shut. Only a suggestion, you are doing great.

You can buy an iron tape to go on the edges of your doors to finish them so you don't see the raw edge - you amaze me!!

This has a very James Bond feel! While not something I would think to make myself, if I saw it in the wild I would be interested in buying it! I hate louvred doors, I've got too many pets and a bad back. Simple is better for me to clean 😬 had I built this closet, I likely would've just bought the typical inexpensive single door with a typical boring knob. So I'm happy you went with something creative and in a style you like and that sounds like it will fit the colors of the room! Great job Sophia!

Great work Sophia! I’m thinking you should consider to paint the inside of the closet first before moving on to another part of the bedroom makeover. This would complete the inside of your closet and afterwards when you place all your things inside, you don’t need to take them out again to paint. It will save you time and energy.

So amazing to watch you make this closet -- better than I could do. If you can't find the right screws for the handles, you might be able to use a paddle bit/spade bit to create a recessed hole in the thick door, and then the screws would be counter-sunk, if that makes sense. (I am assuming the screws go in from the back or inside of the door.) Anyway, can't wait to see the whole room!
