His piloting skills are actually insane he cant see chief at all while lining up for him mid fall. And chief gave him the ultimate trust fall. They really did make a better team then i thought at the time.

Fun fact: this was actually a cut idea reused in this game. It was originally gonna be in Halo 2, where Chief would fall into Johnson’s pelican as they went into New Mombasa. Really cool how they brought that idea back.
