P38 and Chaffee is one of the most powerful combos in the game. So much fun.

Just started the game last week, took the Chaffee into RB Japan as the south team and played off of the hill northwest of C. Angle was a bit tricky but the gun depression made it manageable. Picked up like 9 kills in that game alone.

Haven't played this game in about 4 or 5 years but I loved the Chaffee. I understand the mechanics of the game have changed but back then angled armor could get some pretty stupid bounces. Bounced a KV-2 aphe shell with the front of the chaffee one time.

Chaffee’s HE rounds saved me many times. Sometimes light targets like trucks or certain open top tank destroyers can be destroyed by HE without necessarily hitting the target directly. Splash Damage.

When I grinded out the Japanese tech tree, I swear the M24 was my ace in the hole. I could bring it to any battle rating up to Rank IV and it was just something I could really rely on.

Watching this video makes me so happy because the m24 and XP-38G is what I take into 3.3-3.7

Northern England signing in; I feel you Odd, it's been that little bit too warm for comfort, I'm starting to feel Australian the number of times I've used the barbie this year.

Intro was super cool

Waaaay back in the day the Chaffee didn't have its hull gunner and it was honestly way worse. Now you can sometimes survive a smack to the turret and get away, but back then a single 20mm hvap coming in at the right angle would empty your turret and leave you dead. She didn't have smoke grenades, or scouting and I honestly freaking hated it. As the years have gone on, she's gotten nothing but better and better. Now the Chaf is probably my favorite low tier US scout, and is useful way above its actual BR range. People seriously under use smoke at almost all tiers but the highest. It can not be stated how amazing it is to just flat out block line of sight. Things like dropping a grenade into a 4 way intersection and scooting thru it without being spotted, using them to cover your allies advance or repairs. The ability to retreat into cover if need be, even in flat and open terrain. Blocking sight for aircraft. I stand by that if you still have smokes in the chaffee when you die, you didn't do something right.

2 games and 32 kills. That’s crazy. And Odd just takes it in stride like nothing.

As you mentioned about Server Connection issues, honestly, I never had any lagging or connection Problems on the EU Servers. Lucky me or maybe you have some Provider issues :) Anyway, great Vid again :)

am in north america and the game has been giving me fits lately same thing with the pl and terrible ping as well considering am on the us servers ffs had a few days of server not responding all in the last 4 weeks or so great video as usual hope you feel better

They should add the norwegian NM116, a beefed up M24 with 90mm, new driveline and laser rangefinder and support for NVD/infrared optics.

I usually hop in with the M24 chaffee and rack up some quick 3-4 kills with it and then I go on with either the M10 or some Shermans lol

This is one of the few tanks that you can uptier to 6.0 and be like: Alright bring it on.

The Chafee is so fast that people forget its so small and just rush into Battle. Then again as a Flankpanzer 38 I love killing them.

Alway reverse in the M24 as the reverse limit is 14mph and the stabilizer is good up until 15mph.

XP-38 does pretty good at it's br in ground, granted the battles are low br but the rockets and the offensive armament do pretty good damage.

I tried giving the Chaffee a chance I like its reverse speed but was not impressed with it mobility and top speed. For its br I also would of expected it to survive 50s better. I rely on m5 Stuart to get me somewhere fast and support the team with scouting
