Grass can still be a huge hit. I got blasted by Ishizu Tear Grass with a pretty big Thunder Dragon pack, Snow, and one Shaddoll Beast that i forgot its a Winda material so i got hit by Winda I played Ishizu Tear, but with no Maxx C since i dont like these cards in my hands. Can lead to opening hand full of bricks bricks but what can i do about that anyway

I play againts some of the funiest tear player in ranked mode, dude literally have full combo, insane mill and for some reason he end on redoer pass with 2 dead tear trap

@@jabermogwai5996 yeah, the traps also are a thing. I also often forget that they require a Tear on board or a card in hand. On the other side, I faced this one chaos pile that milled like 30 cards to end on Saryuja, Colossus (not linked), Snow in grave and a 4 mat Apollousa. Decent board with a few problems... It was turn 2, but for some reason he decided to not attack over my two (flipped down) fusion monsters. He also kinda ignored the two Lost Winds that I got to clearly visible set during his turn. As the cherry on top, he shotgunned his Snow at the beginning of my turn.

Some locals allowed to use dices to mark what tear names were already used, since they have different levels. Maybe you could do something similar?

Pairing is made by points, so usually after round 2 people getting paired against tears are good enough to manage a chain.

I can testify as a relative newcomer attempting to play Lyrilusc and Ghoti that it was hellish. I'm certain my opponents could see every bit of joy leave my face when they explained how I could not Solemn their combo due to "Chain Links" and that their boss monster would resummon itself after I used my entire hand to kill it. Point matches helped but not fully as a). Some Tear players would also lose round one or go 1-1 leading you to face them and b). If there were any odd number of players, you would likely get a bye and not get to play (i.e., the reason you were there). The fish could at least play D shifter.

People would literally line up the chains to keep things organized. It was a mess lmao

@@Xero-rr2ol Havnis is at 2, you aren't going to have it every single time, and you have to mill a tear monster or at least a ishizu miller. Yes they CAN play on turn 0, doesn't mean they ALWAYS play on turn 0.

True.. I really hope they adjust the banlist in a hot fix in the next few days... The ishizu cards just have to be nerfed... limit them all and maybe even ban 1 shuffler and 1 miller if you want to sell your shitty designed mermaids and don't adjust the banlist because yu gi oh players are stupid and will buy even the most obvious cash grab ever LOL I mean legit every important Tear card is UR 😂 and the limited kitkalos is SR... wonder how that decision was made :) Not to mention that we don't even have the bystials as counter play because they have the most idiot8lc release schedule ever Aaaaand we have curious and snow in MD - smile.

you forgot sprights were a thing before ishizu. MD was kinda fun before dpe aka before they started adding broken cards that people can shove into literally any deck making most archtypes a joke since most decent boss monsters are generic or so broken you can add 4 garnets (destiny hero stuff) just so you can summon that broken boss.

for me its the other way around i wante the amazoness cards and got the tear cards

I'm not getting this sh*t deck, I have way better ones. 10 games against tearlaments, i only lost 3 with my train OTK or True Draco decks that I stopped using in current meta because they weren't good enough yet they are demolishing this sh*t deck easily. Never would have expected this deck was so easy to fight.

From all the complaining I get that people prefer negates and floodgates. Interaction is too hard for some.

@@Ragnarok540 Yeah, I never read a single tear spell, trap or fusion that says negate lmao. Or any one that says shuffle or pop. This is only talking about engine, they also have a lot of generic fusions and 2 shuffle 3. Also bagooska and zeus when you try to break their board and they need to stall. Or elf to do it again on your turn, or all their traps starting plays in one way or another, or their field spell being one of the best archetypal field spells.

​​​@@nonadqs the only ones that negates is the continues trap card, but it's easy to play around it's just a imperm, and rukkalos, but rukkalos negate effect is niche it's not a omini. It only negates a effect that would special summon a monster. Against spright for example it only works against gigantic and starter

When was this? Because when MD launched Drytron was t0 and before this we were coming out of a Duelist Cup flooded with stun decks and Mirrorjade.

Nah, all other decks are the problem. Tear is fine, the other decks are just badly designed and underpowered.

Ishizu cards were a mistake, tearlaments are fine, the ishizu cards is what gives them mill power, if you play the pure version you see the deck is absolutely fine and not overpowered at all. The ishizu cards are the real war criminals here
