Albion Online is one of the best MMORPG's on the market at the moment. It offers a wide range of content, varying from hardcore pvp to the most casual gathering. The beauty of this game is just that: You can play however you want, and however you play dictates who you are!

A few days ago I wanted to show Avalonian Roads to my friend who is kinda new in the game. 30 seconds after we have entered the portal, my friend met a group of gankers and you already know how this story ends XD

Yeah, it sounds like a very good idea (obviously). It is not like we had to run from between two gathering nodes far away from any portal with entrance slots available straight to the exit while being slowly closed by the gankers. It would be possible if only my friend did not get perpetually stunned; maybe he would have enough time to somehow outrun six gankers. 😅

If you don't have this unlocked yet gather at server quiet times, take all tools, pick a yellow zone with 15% faction buff, use a set of gathering gear targeting the most common resource in the area you select and appropriate gathering books, use some food. You want to target uncommon or better resources, with a little luck you can easily get 10+ resources to cycle through and make some good silver, fame and faction points, keep an eye on the map as large resource node show up every now and again.

Get T5 tools. Go to Caerleon and just buy super throw away gear+tools. Now, just go to the nearest zone that has your desired resource in bulk. Gather and try to avoid gankers, and if you do die, fuck it cause you are there for exp and not silver so it doesn't really matter since your exp can't be taken away. By far the fastest way to lvl, without question, and a bit safer than black zones since you can see how many hostile players are in your zone.

Great vid! Going from skinning t5 up to t7(only getting 20% and using LP) i was making 20k gathering fame per hour in the blue zone concentrated area as well. Wearing full skinning gear and ava tool.

If you want to level gathering, don't get the 'one tier up'. Example, being t5 ore gatherer and thus able to equip t5, you CAN gather t6, but you should focus on t5 (preferably the enhanced). You can gather t5 much faster than t6 and as such will get more fame per minute.

ROADS is the best in gathering!!! Yesterday I got one road, 3 resource spot, but on the first spot I already spot 10 aspects t5 and t6. I managed to get them all within 1hr. After that, I moved on to the 2nd resource spot and found multiple aspects AGAIN, this time there are t4 aspects so I got the jackpot for speccing up.. It was very wild and Im very lucky.. sadly Im on 90% load and someone already saw me from the near HO so I had to go away and R back.. THIS IS VERY RECOMMENDED for those who want to spec up gathering.

This guy calculated gathering fame w/ out factoring in the level of specific tier/resource, which states how much faster gather any resource.

I remember back in the day one of the best ways was to solo the aspects. You'd get a TON of materials and it was relatively easy, albeit time consuming, to do.

sorry for late reply, hope the answer is still helpful. if you enter roads from brecilien you get a random road that, like he said, could be far away from any yz where it's more likely a well geared player or group may enter from, or simply because the population is higher in safe zones, therefore roads portals would be used more in those zones, making that road more populated less chill less farmable etc. in addition to that, returning to brecilien right away lets you bank fast and get right back on another random road. i believe it may also be cheaper to return to brecilien than other cities from roads, i'm not certain but i remember it being VERY expensive to R home on roads. i haven't gone to roads from brecilien yet so im not sure but its a solid theory

what happens if you're gathering on an aspect with 100 ticks, and you see someone with killer intent? or any player approaching? you just drop it and get the hell out of there? it sucks when you found smth so valuable and you have to leave :/

What is the best method for gathering then ? If this is just doing it while doing other activities also how do you do the math for the hours of getting each tier you said 5 hours and then you said you need 33 mobs for xyz fame how can I do that calculation my self thank you

Gathering is such a pain in the neck. Due to how the roads and the mists work, you're encouraged to have everything levelled up. I prefer fishing, to be fair...

@@Mogdone true, since they forcefully close it before, it become buggy there in the road, but hey you can actually travel back when entering the mist or just find a portal that lead you out from Road of avalon

Could anyone please tell me What is the chance of surviving after gathering? And Do the hide be able to sell in brecilien? In brecilien in east anyone barely craft in brecilien. Does that mean this method might befme silver sink?

Yeah, fighting the regular mobs is easy in gathering gear at any tier. It's only aspects you need a swap set

I just got ganked in Ava roads. Starting to think that all those YT content creators are deliberately misguide people, like all those stories about soloing static (lost shitload of silver on repairs), gather in RZ/BZ (constantly ganked). I think I will ignore all of them, not bcs I think I know better, but simply not trust anyone of them anymore.

@@foodhoarder9434 There were 2 players, part of the group/guild I guess. In the mists I noticed lately also groups of 2 players, one always with an ox and they attack solo players clearing camps.

Hahaha, are you a joker to follow his newb guides? Dude he owns billions of silvers, what would he know about noobs! Let me tell you a hint just because you met me in KZfaq: for gathering t5, go to Yellow with a fast mount & not Ox, and only gather t5, it'll be fast but with zero risk. If that's not good enough, yellow maps drop million silver boxes so keep an eye. You'll eventually die in PvP area no matter how good you're because there are players with billions & it's very common. They'll kill you.
