I've been a fan of Blood Ceremony going on a year and a half now. They were the ones who inspired me to start watching more obscure, old euro-horror this year, having credited the likes of Mario Bava on their first album. The opening track of said debut is the doomy Master of Confusion, a song that's quickly become a favorite of mine in their discography for its pure evil-sounding riffs and maniacal organ.
Inspired by KZfaqr Ibanus Lytra's lyric videos, I wanted to make one of my own for Master of Confusion. The film used for the background footage is 1972's Tragic Ceremony, an Italian-Spanish supernatural horror film. The gothic atmosphere of the first act seemed perfect for the world Blood Ceremony conjures up in their debut song. Please enjoy!
