As much as I would love to have the Adventure remakes (I would legitimately buy 'em on PS5), I don't think Sonic Team will be ready to handle them. But if there's anything to really go by, there's that New Era, New Energy thing SEGA is doing.

I do believe we'll get adventure remakes from the team in a couple years from the team that is reviving old franchises from the dreamcast era. They even mentioned at the game awards "and more" so the likely hood is still there. However I don't think it'll be this year because they're probably not ready which is why we've been hearing about an entirely new Sonic and Shadow game to tie in with the movie so they at least have something to capitalise on it. Do you remember the 5 year plan leak ? , if so what's your opinion.

People are still talking about that whole 5 year plan thing? I thought that was debunked ages ago. The 5 year plan mentions Sonic Adventure 3, so I hope it’s real.

@@XxROTSA2xX nothing in it has been debunked, everything that it stated has gone exactly according to plan. Izuka even said in his first interview after releasing Frontiers that he wanted to make a new adventure game using Frontiers as a base. He also said he wants to remake Sonic Adventure a long time ago but the leaks said they are putting extra time into ensuring it is good so they delayed it to 2025 instead of releasing it alongside the movie like originally intended. If Sonic Superstars gets DLC and a new game featuring Sonic and Shadow gets released the leak would be proven right a 3rd year in a row.

If the Adventure games do get remade, I want SEGA to put as much time and care into that attempt so that those remakes can be released as the HD versions that everyone wants them to be released as. Speaking about Crush 40 songs being in the third movie, I think that it could possibly happen because that rock band duo revealed that they very much want to be soundtracking that movie, and that they'd write some new songs for it, bring back some old ones, the lead singer, ( Johnny Gioeli,) is in full support of "Live and learn" being in it, and the movie producers are very aware that a worldwide public demand for that to happen exists. There's 0% escape from the enourmous amount of heavy criticism that that studio would 100% be getting from those people, if that very popular song isn't in that movie. During a final battle scene with Sonic and Shadow in superforms in outerspace like in SA2 would be the best time of the climax of Sonic 3 for that song to be playing at. I very strongly want "Live and learn" to be in Sonic 3 and I think that it's 1 of the best songs that I've ever listened to, so I give it a 10/10.

Live and Learn Hyper Hedgies Remix should be the music for the final battle in Sonic 3. I just think it would fit well with the final battle since it's a little more electric. But if they're gonna go for a more orchestral take on the song, then the 30th Anniversary Symphony version of Live and Learn would be the best choice.

I agree that the Live and learn Hyper Hedgies Remix would fit in well with the Sonic 3 movie, so if Crush 40 does get hired for this, I hope that that musical duo will try to make the movie version of that song sound as similar as possible to that interesting remix version of it. I really like that version of it, and I also agree that the 30th anniversary symphony version would be the best choice if they decide to have it be more orchastral in that movie instead.

I agree on taking the opportunity to remake Sonic games. For me these are my personal wishes for Sonic Remakes: Adventure games, Shadow the Hedghog, Heroes, Rush games, 06 (naming it a different title), Sonic Riders games and Sonic Forces (I say this cuz after seeing Sonic Forces Overclocked mod it blew my mind and Forces deserved better). As for remasters: Sonic Rival games (repetitive but fun and it's a nice follow back to 06), Sonic Colours (not remaster but it be cool if they added the content from the ds version cuz the characters were handled better), Sonic Generation and Unleashed (maybe upscaling the graphics but mostly I want ports for the Switch).

2024 sounds like it’s going to be a interesting Sonic Year and I can’t wait for 2024. SA1 and SA2 should get a remake because the Adventure Games have a few problems and SEGA should fix the problems by the a Remake. My biggest hope for Sonic Movie 3 is to everything from SA2 like Jim Carry make a return, Shadow sacrifice himself, Amy make an appearance in Movie 3, Super Shadow and more. I been hearing a lot of stuff about 2024 being a Shadow year and I hope that happens so SEGA can fix Shadows character. Great video Matt)

I didn't hear you mention Sonic Dream Team. I was able to play it for a little bit, and it was really fun. It's kind of a marriage between linear and open gameplay, not unlike Sonic Adventure. I hope it will come to PC or consoles soon. I also would like to mention that Sonic fans with a PC probably won't ever be in a "drought" with things to play. The fan game community is thriving, and there's so much out there to play.

I think they are gonna make a remaster likely gens or unleashed, updates and dlc for dream team and superstars, and if we lucky announcement of adventure remakes which sounds like wishful thinking but considering kishimoto and isuka actually WANT to dip their feet in the adventure formula again and with sonic dream team giving me Sonic Adventure LITE vibes I think theirs a small chance and I’m here for it!

it actually is possible to emulate unleashed with no crashes in xenia canary, all you have to do is go to xenia canary settings and put your gpu to vulkan, but this does cause a few graphical glitches which can be fixed by putting your render target path vulkan to fsi, this does cause the performance to lag when you first start a level but if you keep playing the performance should get stable again. you can also disable the audio delay by making max queued frames to 3. Theres also a patch for unleashed on xenia canary which makes it so that you can remove that weird yellow filter thats on unleashed.

Honestly I believe Sonic Team is ready for SA remakes, remaking the games 1 to 1 at first could teach their level designers about what they need to do, and then once they've done them both 1 to 1 they can expand upon them using everything they've learned from recreating them.

Sonic Adventure 1+2, Sonic Heroes, and me personally Shadow the Hedgehog. Heroes was my first game but Shadow was the first and only one I 100%. Can be either remasters or remakes for any of these. Sonic Movie 3 will be great.

It’s rumored that we’re getting a Sonic & Shadow game of some sort? Maybe like a Rush type of game for them, we gotta wait and see and a bit off topic here, how cool would it be if Sega had their own Directs like Nintendo does? Since they revealed those 5 upcoming games at TGA, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Jet Set Radio, Shinobi, and Crazy Taxi for those who forgot. Basically the Sonic Central Streams can evolve into a Sega All Star Central of some sort.

If they're not going to be doing Adventure remakes for the time being, given that they've been focusing on their new stuff and the 5 new games they announced at the Game Awards, then I think the 30th anniversary of Sonic Adventure would be the best time to do them. If not next year, or the foreseeable future, then like 2029 would be a good year for that to happen.

I don't see any big games coming out this year. They may release a new collection, like an Advanced Collection for the 3 GBA games, or maybe a physical dual pack for Adventure 1 and 2, but aside from maybe an Olympic game with Mario or maybe a new kart racer, I don't really see much else going on. As for the movie, my biggest wants when it comes to that is A. less cringy zoomer references and more references to the actual games, a darker story, and a more matured Sonic. And I don't mean I want him acting all serious, he can still be wild and free, but I'd like to see the adventure impact him in some way. I liked the sequel a lot, but it did feel like wasted potential when he didn't show any change after Eggman's defeat.

Look man we can’t get Sonic Movie 3 and not have Adventure ports/remakes. I mean this is a big difference from the other Sonic Movies. The other movies kind of take place in there own universe. But if Sonic Movie 3 is going to be based on SA2. It makes perfect sense to release SA2 to the public. Imagine being a kid watching the movie. And you see Shadow and you think he’s like the coolest thing. I would bet a lot of money that if they release Adventure ports that it would sell incredibly well.

To me it's quite clear we'll get a sequel to Sonic Frontiers this year. The game was pretty successful both in sales and review scores. Although, I hope not. It takes more than two years for such a game to be really good.

A remaster of sonic unleashed would be cool lets say the xbox series runs at 120 fps but runs the game at 60 fps At the other hand on the xbox one that runs at 60 fps runs the game on emulation so its still capped on 30fps but because its on stronger hardware there are less frame drops

i do not trust sega with remaking sa1 and 2, frontiers was good but its not like they have a great trackrecord of sonic releases, from what ive heard superstars is just okay and we did get colours ulrimate before frontiers just do simple ports of generations and unleashed to modern consoles instead, and dont even try to pull a remaster like colours ultimate

I said this a thousand times we need to go back to Sonic during the Wii and the 3ds..I know that gave us 06 and boom, but Sonic Rush' the Olympic games ,Sonic and the black night All-Star, racing transform Sonic riders zero gravity. a Sonic Rush or a side game like advance made by dimps or any side team should release every other year or so. Sonic dream team is proof of this though that's locked behind Apple arcade stole someone's iPhone 100% of that game I loved it. Please for the love of God someone give me a Sonic Rush /Sonic Rush adventure sequel I've been crying for years any fan developer wants to throw that on the switch I will buy full price. that being said I'm looking forward to Penny big breakaway

Sonic team shouldnt make the SA remakes they need as many people as they can for the next 3d game. Kishimoto said 300 people are gonna work on the next game there are 400 people in sonic team (sonic team dont only work on sonic). it takes 3/4 years for a big ip 3d platformer game. So there is no way that sonic team can make the remakes without it and the next 3d game being effected poorly. Instead another team should do it.

i think 2024 should be the year of SEGA as in other *not Sonic* franchises. Yeah we're probably getting movie 3, new IDW and merch but that should be it for Sonic imo they should focus on the non-Sonic stuff they promised like Jet Set Radio and Golden Axe
