MasterChef Canada S03 E04 Full Episode: The home cooks were tasked with preparing and serving a baby pork rib entree with two sides and a sauce to 121 firefighters. Matthew and Michelle were the captains of the Red and Blue teams respectively. Matthew got to choose all five members of his team before Michelle. He chose Mary, Sean, Jeremy, Vince and Jacqueline to join him, forming the Red Team. This left Michelle with April Lee, Jennifer, Julia, Shawn, Terry and Veronica, forming the Blue Team. With a difference of 20 votes, the Blue Team won the challenge; part of the challenge loss was blamed on Sean opening the grill lid. Subscribe: / masterchefworld

In the pressure test, the home cooks on the Red Team had to bake a tower of 24 cupcakes with at least three different flavors. Given the chance to save two members of his team, Matthew saved himself and Jeremy from the pressure test. The towers of Jacqueline and Mary were praised, with Mary's cupcakes being deemed the best, leaving Sean and Vince as the bottom two, and Vince was eliminated to the surprise of his fellow competitors.

this happened in the previous season as well, lol. the team with the strongest homecooks ends up in disaster. they all have strong views on the food due to which they end up butting heads. that's not how a team functions.

Sean managed to become one of the most remembered contestants for screwing up the ribs. No one will ever forget the massacre that occurred during this ribs challenge. Good job Sean Hickey aka the rib failure aka the fish “rose” artist.

I hate that Sean didn't got eliminated in this challange. I hate people who cannot admit they've made a mistake. So sad that Vince paid for Seans' mistake. I can't wait to see Sean eliminated.

I like Sean and I can admit that Vince's dish wasn't up to snuff in the Pressure Test, but Sean deserved to go home. First, he ruined the team effort by blatantly going not only against the orders of the team caption but also better knowledge. He then refuses to admit to his glaringly obvious mistake despite even the judges pointing it out to him. As a detour, he hypocritically calls Matthew a coward for using his advantage strategically, meanwhile Sean himself can't even own up to his own shortcomings. As a cherry on top, he repeats the _exact_ same mistake - interrupting the cooking process - again in the Pressure Test. That's not how a chef acts. If you can't deal with valid criticisms, you go out of business, whether it's a Michelin Star restaurant or a food truck. Yes, Sean's cupcakes, by some miracle, were better but Vince very clearly had more potential, especially in the team work and receiving criticism department. It's a shame we didn't get to see more of Vince but at the same time, I'm happy that he's doing well with his catering company and seemingly still working towards his food dream. He seems like a good dude.

Definitely think Sean should've listened to Matthew in the team challenged, he really screwed then over on winning. Needless to say, for the pressure test, Vince needed to go home. The judges literally tell you to make 3 different flavors and that they want innovation, and yet Vince made BASIC chocolate cupcakes with frosting that's just as basic as the flavor of the cake. Not up to par with MasterChef.

Wow, what a rollercoaster of an episode! Poor teamwork can really make or break a challenge, and it's fascinating to see how it played out in this episode of MasterChef Canada. Matthew and Michelle had their work cut out for them as team captains, but it's clear that the Blue Team's strategy paid off in the end. The pressure test was intense, and it's always sad to see someone go home.
