@@Masterduelcentral If you add SHS Big Benkei to the deck you make the SHS Monk Big Benkei useful if drawn on the first turn with out messing up consistency. Its essentially a free Baronne because its lvl 8 💯

Ogre on Wakaushi is good, but don’t risk it if they lead with Wakaushi because you’re playing into gamma. In that case you’d ogre the link 1 which is still pretty good. Ash on something like a Wagon is generally fine - there are 9 cards in deck that still get them to combo, but better players probably aren’t leading wagon if they have Wakaushi or Bike since the threat of gamma normally gives you a 1-draw bagooska if they have maxx c. Going second, DRNM and Super Poly help a lot, but if they have a few handtraps you can still struggle. The biggest in-engine weakness of their board is often a big Zeus - against the one-card boards (Apo + Barrone + Regulus) it’s possible to bait one Apo activation then beat over it with an xyz, ranking up into a 4 mat Zeus and forcing out both other omnis. They don’t have any spot removal, so if you have ways to contest their board without activating effects you can get pretty far.

No no, you're right. Almost half the main deck is handtraps. It's never impressive to see decks built like that win. And it is, SHS is a synchro deck.

Im not trying to impress anyone. Im just giving people the optimal way to play the deck, which is hand trap heavy because the deck is so consistent it can afford it, not to mention it literally can't run spell/traps so obviously you will use that space for extra hand traps.

Since anyone who knows the archtype or plays the game would easily understand it's what you're trying to do and that's how/why it should be built for competitive play. Hell even though I dislike that style of play/decks I can even fully agree SHS should and is the only deck that has the excuse to do it because of the no S/Ts. And btw I'm criticizing the deck and decks like it. Not you.

@@Masterduelcentral yeah 1 droll 1 Maxx c 1 gamma and 1driver and 1 ash doesn't brick lol It's good you have so many starters for sure, but the brick hands are inevitable So many staple spells that can't be played sucks. It will be top tier, but even with the others

Maxx C, Droll, Nib before they go into an early baronne/appoll, this deck puts up an obnoxious board, but it has more vulnerabilities in MD. I still expect it to be put in the grave pretty early, like they did in TCG and OCG.

Mostly out of obligation to my viewers. I want to give people the best way to play it, I'm not sure if that stun variant is the best way but if it is then it would be dishonest of me not to at least let people know. At the end of the day it's konami's job to keep toxic strats out of the game and it's my job to give people the tools they need to build the best deck they can.

I think they're pretty even. SHS is a bit more consistent.

@@Masterduelcentral I've played both competitively, shs can't play through boards with ease like mannadium, yes both get hurt by droll but shs dies instantly, mannadium can at least put up a decent stall,shs might be more consistent now but once crimson dragon is out the one card combo becomes full combo for mannadium, with samsara I literally do not brick, only hand that could hurt is drawing 2 meek

so far I like it, it's very sacky but it also has room for a lot of variety. Was doing pretty well with gold pride punks ealier
