Rather I do by Vedic maths method ... Add the unit digits and once the sum exceeds 10 , place a dot somewhere and proceed with the unit digit only .. repeat same process ... At last count number of dots ... They will signify number of 10s .... Eg : 32+36+45+66 = Step 1. 2+6+5=13 , do one dot and proceed with 3 ... Thus 3+6 =9 ... Step 2 . 3+3+4+6= 16 ... Step 3. Add all ... One dot means 10 , so 160+10+9 = 179 ... This will be helpful once you take a large sample size ... And develope a habit of clubbing number to exceed 10 ..... Thanks
