Odd that he passed on the question about their points total in the 1961-62 season. Aside from my usual gripe about people passing on questions that begin with 'how many', passes can of course end up counting against you at the end.

..... And in time it fades into legend as those who witness it pass on. Truth is you had a 20 year hiatus as proved by the questions asked. Pity you have no future to match the glorious past.

Sadly I have to agree, the state of our club at the moment is abysmal! Marcus Evans is strangling us and Mick Mccarthy is refusing to leave, fans are deserting us in droves and the future doesn't look good. I can't even say "roll on next season" as we already know whats going to happen. we'll stay up, in the summer we'll get a couple of players on loan and the cycle will continue. And Arsenal fans think they've got problems.............

All joking aside, the truth is so many Clubs are in a similar position,it's clear that football is no longer a sport, it's a business. The Prem is a big City love in, where the Hull's, Swansea's and the like are fodder for the big boys. I've been saying for years that the Prem and Sky will eventually pull the plug to form a full time European super League. There's only one Club in Germany, two in Spain the list goes on. When the big six leave who'll win the League then? Everton, West Ham?... Who cares?

You're totally correct, football is now a business and not a sport. If the european super league does happen it will be the death for a lot of clubs, look at whats happening now to Leyton Orient, its not good at all. I'm old enough to remember when Norwich nearly won the league in 1989, that squad was fantastic. Dave Stringer put together a side that SO nearly won the league, imagine if that team had been in europe in 1990? I reckon that team was better then the team that qualified in 1993! I grew up in Thetford, in the 1989 season I went one week to Ipswich and the next to Norwcih, saw about 15 Norwich games that season, including the 3-2 away at Millwall (I was at college in Leatherhead) Football was wonderful back then, and miss it terribly.
