That was an informative and enjoyable introduction to the items loaned. Thank you. I trust the gallery was well visited during the period. I spent a wonderful few hours in the Edinburgh National Gallery of Scotland at the start of this week (during the France v Scotland rugby match). I can report it was visited by many of our French friends (the ones who didn't like rugby presumably). My video of many of the splendid paintings is available on my channel if anyone wants enjoy them. (other European galleries are there too!)

The Scottish National Gallery formerly the National Gallery of Scotland is a high-quality museum located in Edimburg, Scotland. It was first opened to the public in 1859. Key masterpieces displayed at this museum include works from Botticelli, Cézanne, Van Dyck, Goya, El Greco, Monet, Velázquez, Monet, Vermeer, and many others. This is a place worth to be visited by avid admirers of classic art.

It is slightly irritating that some people can’t pronounce a capital city older than their entire country.
