One doubt that in msc pre reg, it is mentioned that after this course you will be eligble for hcpc registration or it is recognized by hcpc , whereas in one year courses , they do not mention it , so after doing one yr programme, will we be eligble for hcpc registration ?

Hi Nikita! I had a quick question for you, How early can you apply for an hcpc registration if your going through the MSC pre-reg route? I watched your other video and it says its better to apply 6 months before graduation to get it on time. But HCPC has certain work requirements so wouldn't a pre-reg student be ineligible prior to graduation?

Hi, I think it's quite different for Msc Pre-Reg. From my personal understanding I recommend waiting for your provisional degree certificate and then applying for HCPC. But I also suggest you check this with someone as well who has done a Pre-Reg programme. Please don't forget to subscribe, like and share!

hi Nikita! Loved this video a lot. I had one question, which is how long after your graduation in BPT did you apply for masters? I saw that the MSc Advanced Physiotherapy course in UCL asks for a minimum of 2 years work experience. Is that a mandatory clause?

Hi Sam, the work experience is only a criteria if you want to do the advanced route. But yes UCL does sometimes prefer students with some paid with experience. They being said it also accepts students immediately after their bachelor's degree. So it depends on each person.

It could clear out some doubts I have, such as, if internship would count as work experience too? I graduated in November 2021 and I joined a job this year in January 2022. Can I then apply for September 2023, if I wish to go for the Advanced route?

Hi khushboo, UCL has a very entry requirement criteria which does is actually very high first Class and distinction. So I’m not sure that backlogs will be acceptable. But I’m not an admissions officer, so if you really are interested in the course, then apply but I’m not sure about getting accepted so do have a back up plan.

Like I explained, the Pre-Reg courses are for those students in UK so haven't studied Physiotherapy before Eg: physiology or something. So if you have I would advice you choose something else! But it's entirely decision. Don't forget to subscribe, like and share!

Hi Imaad, it's not necessary that you have to be a band 5. I got a band 6 role directly after my masters. But I do know what's really important is your experience and practice. I was working in Mumbai for about 2 years before my masters which build my experience. So think about your experience while applying for jobs. Mam i have a doubt i completed my bachelors in Physiotherapy iam a fresher in advance physiotherapy required 2year experience in particular field and few colleges only available Is there any major difference in value of degree like level in NHS job. Can I able to apply for Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) after masters in physiotherapy pre registration because it's only showed in MSc advance physiotherapy.
