Masters MotoPlex on 2024 YZ450F Shortened Track 6-1-2024

24 күн бұрынGreat day to ride at Master's MotoPlex south of Columbia, SC on a shortened track. About a 1/3 of the track was detoured due to the lack of prep, which surprised quite a few folks and they were not real happy about it. Either way, the track that was prepped was great, and I had a good day personally. I'm feeling really good on the new YZ450F and just love riding it.

I was invited out yesterday, but decided to stay home and epoxy my new barn floor and had a calf! Your looking mighty fast! Looks like a shu-in for that Yamaha only race at Budds Creek in 5 weeks.

I don’t know Dan but he may be in some of my footage. Did he have numbers on the bike yet? And i thought about Budds Creek but I’ve not raced in 25 years!! 😮.

I don't know if he had numbers on. I really need to ride somewhere besides my house. Going to PA in 2 weeks for some races. I was asked if I'm going to Budds, we will see. More concerned with going to AMA Vintage Days and racing the following week after Budds. They get 140K people there over 3 days. It's so much fun. All vintage tho.....

They need to prep and water the whole track! We bought memberships and paid to ride under the assumption that the whole track would be prepped and watered. If the prep is "light" that's fine. But closing half the track is not acceptable.

I certainly can’t speak for them its only my 2nd time to ride there. It probably would go over better with folks if they state it will be a shortened track due to lack of rain/ other issues. It was also late notice to be open last weekend but glad they did.
