Is it just me, or do I see a slight bit of purple in the close up view ? It does not seem to be all black. Perhaps It's the lighting.

You nailed it, Dan. They would've looked much better if they were painted purple with the cracks painted red, like lava is trickling through them! That's how I imagined they would look like. Also, they seem smaller than Grayskull stands...I might get one box, to try to repaint them, but I'm disappointed :(

Man such a bummer that they have had 3 attempts to make good stands for our figures and they have failed every time. I was so hoping eventually I'd have something to hold up some of my figures that have trouble standing on their own.. Like Entrapta for inst. Because of her top heavy hair, and my Beastman who has weak legs.

There are plenty of third party stands out there that will work well for these figures.

They are so small but as you said do take up alot of space..I may go for the Greyskull stands someday but not these

It's funny, the parts of the video when you are holding them they look totally 100% black. I agree, they should have a lot more purple. Your idea of having lava running through the stones is good. As well the idea of tiered stands like the WWE figures. I have my Star Wars figures on a black and white tiered spice rack. lol

Dan, you better get some Aloe for those feet man. Lava burns are nasty. I agree with you, I couldnt handle knowing my figures were standing in lava. And I really mean that..im kinda ocd. :P

Ironically the black/ red colors make it look more designed to display the horde.

This is highly disappointing! I was really excited for these and was looking to order a lot of them. Can you comment as to how many pegs come in each set? I asked TG if there were enough for both feet and the attachment per piece and he couldn't answer at that time.

Im not really happy with those stands. the lava looks more like blood than melted rock.

I was interested in these stands at first, but now i see that they really sucks. The only way to make them better is to repaint them, but i won't do that for every single stand, so there is no sence to me to buy them. That's a pity.
