Mer-Man was another favorite character going back to the vintage toys and filmation cartoon. Yeah, the voice actors made him sound like he was gargling water. His voice was very different in the Revalation cartoon or where this figures design was inspired. Thanks for checking the review out. I'm glad like it👍

Thanks for checking the out! I was gonna also show the armor on the first battle damage one. But I wasn't sure if it was worth the time because this Version 2 is the same Figure aside the Clean body, Head and slightly color difference. I already showed the first Mer-Man with my custom head and Classics armor to kind of show a simular look with Two eyes or that head a customized.

Mer-Man is definitely a fan favorite and such an iconic character going back to our childhood if you grew up with the brand. This version of Mer-Man is what most people prefer over the battle damage one. I'm glad they finally put this one out! Thanks for watching the reviews as always! The sword, armor, and two eyes and accessories definitely make him look better. Buzz-Off and Faker are my favorites in this wave! I can totally see a new Eternia Mer-Man and He-man coming ✌️

Thanks for taking the time to check out the review and share your thoughts! The Masterverse line is a mix for many people, depending on the figure. Some figures are hit or miss. I have read comments from people who have watched my reviews or other reviews on a particular figure and really liked it, but refuse to buy it because they didn't like the Revalation cartoon. I'm like, why does a show that you didn't like or had bad writing have to ruin your toy collecting or a newer Motu figure you really want to pick up! Ignore the show like it wasn't a thing and just focus on the joy of collecting and the art of the character or figure. Make your own story up in your head or your toy display. I own most of the Motu Classics line and think that is one of the greatest modernized visions of those vintage figures and nastalgia you can get. I never thought I would collect the Origins and the Masterverse line. They feel very familiar to me, like the vintage or Classics line did, but yet something new. Also, you can customize figures with other heads and accessories that you don't like as I did with the first release, Mer-Man. Yes, the armor has a different feel to it. I have gotten a few comments from people who didn't like it either. I don't mind it. But the Classics armor is cooler on that Mer-Man. It's still a solid figure. Hopefully, when you can find a deal down the road on this figure, then maybe pick him up and you might like the look in hand or go on ebay to see if there are any loose Classics armor for Mer-Man for sale👍

The Pirate version was unique and a cool variant. But I think many of the Collectors and Mer-Man fans that grew up with the Vintage Cartoon Mer-Man and toy design look prefer the typical ironic look with the armor, bone sword, and no battle damage. Yes, R.I.P Kevin Conroy! ✌️

It's cool that they finally put this complete version out. I also collect the Mcfarlane figures. I personally have more QC issues with the joints than in Masterverse figures. Thanks for stopping in to check out this Mer-Man review! Yes, the Armor has a bulky feel and design compared to the typical Mer-Man Armor. But it's still unique and very cool looking. The design seems like a mix of filmation, the vintage figure, and the lords of power versions like I showed in the review for comparison. I will always like the original design because of the nastalgia and most certainly the Classics design and figure. But I did like this new look for the Revalation cartoon. I think most people who also liked the Mer-Man design in that series wanted this version before the Battle Damage version missing and eye and the Armor. I am happy we finally got this one now in wave 9. He's definitely a solid figure to pick up👍

Yeah, this is the version of The Revalation Mer-Man. Everyone who liked the figure design wanted. There was an announcement for a New Eternia Trap-jaw coming to the Masterverse line later this year👍

Yeah, I have heard mixed comments about the Armor as well. Sometimes, it looks a little under light or head-on. I thought the Classics armor looked a little better because of the size. I'm hanging in there. I feel shitty today. I really like the wave 9 figures. Many positive comments on most of them. My favorites are Faker and Buzz-Off. Grizzlor and Mer-Man are also really cool. BBTS has Mer-Man, and Grizzlor is stock at the moment. The Skeletor isn't supposed to come out until August, I think. But that could change!👍

@DZ Squad I live with chronic pain, degenitive arthritis and connective tissue disease. I'm always stiff and struggling on constant sorness and pain in my spinal cord. Anyway! Yeah, BBTS toy store online had those two figures in stock. Not the others. The other 2 figures are what most people want!

Thanks for watching already! Yeah, the armor gives him a bulky look because he is slimmer than the Vintage or Classics that many of us are used to seeing with Mer-Man or the Typical MOTU bucks. The arms also have a smaller muscle design now, just like the Revalation cartoon design. I really like the who wave 9 as well! I think Faker I number one for many people and Buzz-Off next. Grizzlor is also liked, but the head design is mixed for many people it dosent have fur or too much of a filmation and wolf man look. I think many people will like this Mer-Man better than the first release because he still looks like the iconic Mer-Man we grew up with, but in the Masterverse style👍

They made the Revalation Mer-Man very interesting, looking at the Revalation series. I liked the look. Many people wanted this version over the battle damage version from the comments I have gotten. I also wanted the complete version as well! I didn't mind the scars. Thanks for watching the review 👍

I'm glad you and many people really liked this version of Mer-Man and the other figures in wave 9. Most of the comments have been positive with this whole wave. This is the iconic Mer-Man or old school look and design most people want in a Mer-Man figure l. Of course, he has the Masterverse design! But it's still awesome and feels like that Vintage inspired Mer-Man many of us grew up with! I don't blame you for wanting to grab these now if you can find them in stock. They are on eBay. But double the cost of BBTS pricing. Maybe see if paulmart has these in yet! BBTS should get them in soon or next month👍
