How to defend if someone puts a knife on our neck, What to build your Self-confidence? Start now: bit.ly/2GDOyYA
Wing Chun martial arts master teaches How to defend if someone puts a knife on our neck.
Hi,
Master Wong here.
Let me ask you some questions…
Do you want to Self-confidence and are you ready to improve your health and coordination?
Wouldn't it be awesome if you could get rid of fear and learn to defend yourself? What if you could instantly download Wing Chun into your brain? These are questions I used to ask myself as well.
Just imagine if you had that Wing Chun Kung Fu skill, what would you do with it? Would that instantly change your life and health for the better? Unfortunately, Wing Chun Kung Fu isn't as easy as inserting a cord into our brains to download the information like the Matrix. You'll have to find a good Master if you want to learn correctly. Even if you find a Master that could expedite your training, it's going to take years to hone the skills that you envision.
Talk about "Wing Chun Kung Fu overload" . . .

These techniques only work on people who dont want to kill you and just trying to scare you. If you see a person comming at you with a knife trying to actually kill you either run away or if you have to fight (to protect family, etc) grab something that has more reach than the knife (chair, bat, you name it.) or something wide that can deflect the knife. When you grab a chair lets say and stand your ground, the person with the knife will most likely demoralize and run away.

I am a Sifu and Grand Master in Wing Tsung, Filipino Eskrima, and Silat, 8th degree! I'm 40 years old and started at the age of 7 in China, the Philippines, and Indonesia. I fought professionally in Thailand's Muay Thai (14-0-0, 11 KOs). I still see these types of knife defenses, and they're laughable! The first thing you should learn is to move away if you notice someone carrying a knife. In a confined space where you can't escape, place one hand up and another down, arms protecting your vital organs, and forearms outward to prevent cuts to veins. If you get cut, never look at your wound. Apply the principle of ignorance. You're not fighting the knife but the person holding it. If it's a professional, you'll notice how they hold it. Use heel kicks to the shin, it'll hurt and make them reconsider. Whether they're professional or not, maintain the guard as explained before. In a confined space like a bathroom, don't back up and get cornered; otherwise, you'll end up bleeding with cuts and stabs. Maintain your guard and move forward. Anticipate the attack, target the throat and eyes, and strong low-angle blocks to the shins. Why? Throat = someone who can't breathe can't attack. Eyes = someone who can't see can't defend effectively. Shins = someone who can't walk can't defend or attack. But remember, avoiding a fight is a victory. If you see a knife, don't be brave, just move away if you can. These videos aren't realistic, I know from my own experience. Thank you.

My philosophy is simple yet profound. In my system, we embody two WuDe virtues: Courage and Perseverance. These virtues guide us, shaping not only our technique but also our character. Remember, "Train hard, live clean, and don't let anyone bully you." Situational awareness is key. Assess swiftly, like a warrior assessing the battlefield. In this video, when you, Master Chung, demonstrated the same technique you have the big guy and John do, I noticed the wing chung element of defend and strike at the same time. This is brilliant to master. Why defend and then strike in two movements? The wing chung element allows for two strikes in defense. One as you defend which must set opponent back in their mind too, and the next strike which must put them down. Brilliant thinking.

I am a trained martial artist with 48 years experience. I must tell you that even with intense training against a knife. Even if you have your own knife. If you engage a trained and or bad intentioned assailant you are going to be cut slashed stabbed or killed unless the Living God is with you a determined opponent with a blade will negatively impact your life. Knife wounds are the stuff that nightmares are made of. Peace and OSU

Very true, no matter how good you are or how strong, you're just a human being with one life to protect. In a fight or flight situation, not many people can have the mental preparation and calmness to react properly to a dire situation especially involving weapons. May God help us when that time comes

There is a substantial difference between exhibition and a real fight. Real fights are much more dynamic and unpredictable. Many of the moves I learned in TKD were difficult to use in a real fight. I love this channel and master Wong. Highly skilled and a Black Belt in humor too.

Ive been training in knife fighting for about 5 years now. And I have to admit these guys are actually showing some real technique here. I dont know who these guys are but this is not bad. 99% of the knife defense videos online are bull but I agree with a lot of what they said in the video. (Knife fighting rules: #1 evade the attack, #2 get control of their elbow before their reset, #3 get two arms controlling their one arm, #4 destroy them.)

Congratulations on your victory! In high-stress situations, remember the importance of situational awareness and adaptability. Speed and direct action are crucial. I'd suggest focusing on leveraging your strengths and the environment to your advantage. Remember, it's not just about technique; it's about mindset and strategy too. Train hard, live clean, and don't let anyone bully you. Check out our website for more comprehensive training programs. store.masterwong.tv/
