Apparently babymetal originally wrote and came back with an all English part, but Oli pushed back and asked if they could do parts in Japanese.

Oli main singer of BMTH had problems with his voice in the past and their songs used cleaner vocals. But this album has a couple of songs where they went back to how they were in the past. So for BMTH this is more their older style in a way. This song has similar contrast as a Babymetal song would have. I think it was Oli that mentioned in an interview at first Babymetal had send them a vocal part just in English, they requested Babymetal would also incorporate Japanese. And they got a long explanation of all what all the Japanese meant to with it. Ludens is actually on the same album as this song, but Ludens has been out for a much longer time than the album.

BMTH is one of my favorite bands. They where alot harder back in the day but they kinda fell away from their death metal origins. That being said this is one of my favorite songs by them. Y'all want to listen to them in there prime check out these two albums. Sempiternal and Suicide Season. If y'all into some emo music check out their Album That's The Spirit it's by far thier most emo album and it served as a good transition album for the type of music they do now

You should listen to more of the new BMTH album. All of the singles they have released so far are very good, though I will admit Kingslayer is one of the best songs on the album. If you want another great song with a very Linkin Park vibe, listen to 1x1 and/or Teardrop, which sound like they could have been on Hybrid Theory. This song does totally sound like it could have been on a Need For Speed soundtrack, and Mick Gordon produced the album so that might be why (Mick did the most of the music for the recent DOOM games). The other band I get a lot of from BMTH is filter, a great underrated band from the 90s.

This song is the hardest damn song about playing Call of Duty I've ever heard. Oli from BMTH said that he was playing it one night and one of the big goals for players is to hit "Kingslayer", which is so many kills without dying if I remember correctly, and it just started coming to him for the idea (there are also some political undertones towards Trump that he added in the interview, but I'll let those go during this moment in time of the election). I believe he said it began last year or earlier this year when they were actually opening for BABYMETAL in Japan for a few shows and he asked them at some point if they'd be willing to do a collab. I have no doubt Moa was all about it because she really likes their music, plus they've all become friends over the past few years of playing shows/festivals together, so it was an easy ask.

Sempiternal is the last great album by BTMH. I don't wanna sound like a pretentious metal snob. But they definitely took the Motionless approach as far going sort of commercial to the extreme overnight

its kind of blasphemous to not oh heard BMTH, now we are gonna need a lot of videos of you for them, i bet people will post a lot of songs, their first few album they were very like bad death core sounds, but so nostalgic, and then you can see them change from album to album, i recommend going through their whole discography, they are amazing
