Atreyu is the band that got me into Metalcore. I was mainly listening to Nu Metal at the time and I was like wtf is this? Then this shit became my fucking anthem. LIVE. LOVE. BURN. DIE.

I remember this from way back when. I got it on a Metal Hammer free magazine free DVD with Ice Queen - Within Temptation, Eighteen Visions - Waiting For The Heavens, Lordi - Blood Red Sandman, Hawthorne Heights - Ohio Is for Lovers, and Bullet for My Valentine - Hand of Blood. And yes I feel extremely old

I was just getting into much heavier stuff as this was coming out and I, more or less, looked over Atreyu way back when, but I've always loved this song. The melodic guitar and the piano part really get me.

Nice throwback guys. Brought back some memories for sure. I saw atreyu at a small venue here in chicago with lamb of god and eighteen visions in 2003 or so. Can you guys check out Malevolence? I think you'd really like them. They blend everything from Hatebreed to Pantera to Crowbar to thrash. Check out "Wasted Breath" by them.

Dancing still happens, yeah. Sometimes overly so aha. It's primarily at Heavier Metal/Deathcore shows. Which reminds me. Crystal Lake Live at Resurrection Fest would be sick! The whole set is dope, but either Hail To The Fire, Aeon, Apollo, and Six Feet Under are must watches. Band is so insane live
