I Would have done anything to be just seated beside my Mom @ Savannah's age.My parents were divorced & Mumma remarried when I was 10 to a man none of my siblings or I cared for. Mumma died when I was 16 & I lived with my siblings in summer & 2 different families during the school year so I could finish high school in my home town & not be uproot ed.The fact that my Mom did not see me Graduate,get Married have babies Work & Make a Good Life w/ My Husband still Hurts Don't Ever take any thing for granted😢😭

I think this song by both of you I would like played at my funeral when God finally takes me home someday. God has kept me on his shoulders all my life. Through Vietnam and the worry of agent Orange, a divorce that left me numb, the murder of my sister, the death of my my sister's 42 year old daughter by a disease that left her at 55 lbs. The death of my brother by cancer, the death of my parents and a daughter with a auto immune disease and both my wife and daughter with severe depression. But even with all this God still carries me on his shoulders and raises me up with his gifts of grace, hope and strength. God is good, all the time. Thank you God for people like Mat and Savanna and the talents you gave them.

I could listen to this over and over and over again. When I'm down, it really does raise me up. However depressed I am, watching these two singing together doesn't fail to lift my mood, even just a little, but enough to ease those dark depressive thoughts. Matt and Savanna I just love you two.

Au usual I am in tears listening to this song, they released it when I was feeling my worst, they raised me up so I could get through the funeral of my brother-in-law., for that I am eternally grateful. When my now 19 year old son was two I had the Josh Grobin album which featured this song. My son would sit in his car seat while the CD was playing in the car and shout this song at the top of his little lungs, and as soon as it was done, ask for me to “play again, Mama!”. It is one of my most cherished memories of his toddlerhood, and made this song a favorite for me. It was also a challenging time in my life, and the words of this song helped me to know that all would be well. Thanks for bringing this song in a new and beautiful way, it always “Raise(s) Me Up” to hear it again.

I am a pianist who has been through much in the last 6 years that closely resembles what our country has been facing these last 6 months. Music has always been with me what it obviously has been for you. I was given my love of music by God through Mom. She went home to be with Jesus last year at the wonderful age of 88. I was truly blessed to have her for 52 years. Your relationship reminds me so much of my relationship with my Mom and you both feel me with so much joy and wonderful memories! As I was listening to you, I was sitting at my piano and playing along with both of you! May God richly bless you as you have blessed me and so many others! Love you both!

I remember hearing Josh Groban singing this as I was waiting in the waiting room for my dad to have emergency surgery to try to save his life! I didn't think that anyone else could ever sing this like he could. This is a very special song for me. I danced with my son, at his wedding reception, to this song. I played it often while he was critically ill. It brought peace to my heart when I was so worried and strength to my body, mind, and soul during his illness. Thank you for adding a rendition to my collection. To this point, Josh Groban’s was the only one that had met my expectations. Yours shares first place with his.💗
