To be fair, it was bound to kick of with Albion as soon as the club allowed ST holders to bring a friend, presumably due to poor sales. Meanwhile Wolves sold their 4000 in an hour, mostly to away ST holders - its a closed shop and as a home ST holder I haven't managed to get a ticket for the Albion away since the 3-2 game way back. Went every game before that - all seater has changed the BC derby into a more placid affair. Wolves fans weren't to blame here, they were comprised of just ordinary ST fans. very few risk groups. WBA are a proper club and I know 90% are sound, but I’m afraid the club have to accept some responsibility for fueling it by playing the liquidator, for serving beer to Albion not to Wolves, and for poor stewarding over the years where Albion fans have been taught that it is acceptable to go on the pitch. I'm more amazed that just 1 fan sat in the home end results in fans going onto the pitch?
