Why were these two on Stage 2 instead of the main stage? Couldn't watch the match properly because of ITV's inadequate coverage of this.

If I recall correctly, the match on the main stage was moving too slowly so they would've had to wait for too long

They also might not have played like they did if they were on the main stage as there might have been a bit more pressure on both of them

A truly epic match! From start to finish, The 13th leg was wishy washy then it just picked up again in the 14th/15th, excellent skill and comradery from both Searle & DVD. Cheers to both for giving us a show!

Fantastic game between two of the nicest players this sport could ask for. The sportmanship, the checkouts, the pace...all of it was class! If only this was on the stage at the world championships. The atmosphere would have been legendary! Also only just discovered that Searle has astigmatism and apparently struggles to see where his darts have landed...how he manages to play THIS well with that level of sight is beyond me...

At 15:30 Phil Taylor (who else?) hit a perfect 6 in the 2nd leg of the final of the world championship in 2013 vs MVG. I dont think anyone else has done it in a televised tournament - but I could be wrong.
